Clips Nation Three Trades that must happen before Baron comes back!!!

Although I was an advocate to sign B. Davis...his time has passed not once since he's been a Clipper has he shown any all-star potential (never) we are all lucky if plays 50 games or comes into camp in shape. We have new BLOOD NOW and finally a decent Coach in Del Negro...FINALLY!!!...Del Negro has shown the potential to groom a young point guard ala D. Rose and his Lady Pyrmaid RIGHT NOW!!!...It is time to let him Groom...E. Bledsoe. You have to ask you self  is this team a playoff team with B. Davis...NOT AT ALL!!! SO LET THE GROOMING BEGIN...But first one of these 3 trades must happen before Baron comes back and messes up the chemistry....I've checked with the ESPN trade machine...and all the trades proposed can work.

Option #1

Three way trade

Clippers get: Boris Diaw (Char), Matt Carroll (Char) & J. Johnson (Bulls)

Charlotte get: Baron Davis (Clips)

Chicago get: A. Aminu (Clips) & D. Brown (Char)

The Clippers get more bench help with Diaw and Carroll and a player Del Negro is familiar with in Johnson, Charlotte gets a proven vet in Baron Davis to team back up with S. Jax and you know what there capable of and Chicago get young talent and more shooters.

Option #2

Two way trade

Clippers get: T. Prince & Chris Wilcox

Detroit get: B. Davis

Clippers get a hometown favorite and starting SF with Prince also bring back Wilcox for depth, Detroit picks up a true PG and everything falls into place.

Option #3

Two way trade

Clippers get: J. Calderon & M. Banks

Toronto get: B. Davis

Clippers get some expiring contracts to save some money for contract extentions coming soon...Blake, Gordon, Bledsoe, Toronto needs a real scorer and Davis can do that.

Option #4

One more for the road

Two way trade

Clippers get: S. Dalembert

Kings get: B. Davis

Clippers can add depth and a expiring contract with Dalembert, the Kings get a true PG to team up with T. Evans

Clips Nation Free Agent Targets!!!

To be honest all these rumors are making me CRAZY!!! But as a local from Compton, CA. I will list some ligitimate targets that should be targeted by the Clippers. SORRY but NO BIG TIME FREE AGENTS are COMING to the Clippers, check the history. They'll only come if they are on their last leg or looking for their last big contract...ie Baron davis.

Mind you the first option is quickly try and get Paul Pierce, he fits the mode of what the Clippers can afford a star player on his last leg, looking for his last big contract...hint, hint...plus he'll bring a ton of experience to a very young and upcoming team:

So lets look see what's available, this year's free agency will almost be like fantasy basketball take your pick:

Small forwards: Paul Pierce, Josh Childress, Tracy McGrady, Matt Barnes

The Clipper also need a taller backup at the two

Shooting guards: Mike Miller, Ronnie Brewer. John Salmons, Gerald Green

Back up Power forward help in case the Terminator gets hurt again

Power forward: Al Harrington who played with B. Diddy in Golden St., Hakim Warrick, Udonis Haslem, Amir Johnson

Adding a third Big man at the center position would also make us deep

Center: Jermaine O'Neal now this would also be a great pick up cause he can play both slots and give insurance for the Terminator, Channing Frye another good option and B. Haywood

I understand you need to let the young guys play but to get over the hump bring in players that are ready to go

Point Guards: Nate Robinson, Shawn Livingston,

So In all the first target is get Pierce, next Jermaine O'Neal, Channing Frye, Al Harrington, Mike Miller and go from there don't waste your time on Restricted FA...and if all else fail save the money and get Melo next yr.

Clips Nation DTS is not losing money with firing M. Dunleavy!

With the team being under the salary cap this season they get a tax break or cut...of 4.5 or 5 mil which should cover the cost of firing Dunleavy...he made Dumleavy make those moves so he could make extra money off the NBA...CBA.

For years now the DTS has made a profit off the Clippers while only making the playoffs twice in its existance...he has manage to keep the clips in the basement while holding on to a franchise that was worth about 80 mill when he first got it to now it being worth about 200 to 400 million...the clippers maybe the laughing stock of the NBA...but DTS is laughing all the way to the bank...at this rate who needs a winning team when the next 10 yrs the franchise will be worth double...wow!

Clips Nation I vote for Byron Scott as the new Head Coach!

Why not...he has Clipper ties as he was drafted by them, has been to the finals (twice) and he's available...Bring in B...Scott..and get rid of Baron Davis...we might have a shot of getting CP3

He also has LA connections if the  Clippers win the lottery again he'll be able to draft and teach John Wall the ropes... with a young backcout of Wall and Gordon...Kaman at center...Blake at power and either Gay or some other freeagent the Clipper might have a chance....(don't hold your breath or anything like that) but yes!!! a chance to compete.

All-Star Voting $$$$$

They should let the two top vote getters one from the West (Kobe) and one from the East (LaBron) chose their Allstar teammates. They would be like Captains picking teams and also make it worth watching...What do you think Sports Nation?
