Gang Green Nation Kerry Rhodes trade...

How bout a straight swap of Kerry Rhodes for Antonio Cromartie? I doubt we get anything better than a 5th round pick for him. Why not get a player of similar talent who may just need a change of scenery. He can step in immediately and contribute across from Revis. With Lito gone, cornerback becomes a priority. We can draft a corner, but relying on him to step in on a contender is a risky proposition.

Gang Green Nation O-Cho-Cin-Co SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS

So Chad apparently thinks he will score on Revis. While we know that won't happen, on the off chance he scores on a freak occurence, we need to be ready.

He says he will mimic our own "Fireman Ed," quiet down the crowd and start the chant. Rather than let him steal Ed's duty, we need to stand up and shout:  O-CHO-CIN-CO SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!!!

Spread the word. Get it on every Jets message board and tell everyone you know who's attending the game. Let's take this one

home and extend our season. You never know what happens once you get into the playoffs. Every team is 0-0.

Gang Green Nation Pace, Phins and Week 8

1. I actually don't think the media blew his comments out of proportion. I don't think many people, other than the jets or dolphins fans even heard about it.

2. His comments were quite ridiculous. You can't come out of a loss and call the opposing qb, that just beat you, a clown. Now I love what calvin can do on the field but he was damn near invisible in that game and has the nerve to call out the miami offense that just ran all over us.

3. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DOLPHINS FANS ON THIS BLOG? Go back to your little fish blog and worry about your own damn team. We know you envy New York, but damn, we don't need to see it.

4. My prediction for this weekend: I think the defense rebounds. As big a loss as jenkins was miami, mostly runs off the tackles in the wildcat, which should give pace plenty of oppurtunities to redeem himself. We will also have the return of a healthy Cotchery. He played hurt for all of that last game. He should help keep the defense honest. I still think its a grind it out game and i have the jets winning 20-17, but not covering.

Gang Green Nation Jets Acquire WR Braylon Edwards from Cleveland Browns

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns have traded disgruntled WR Braylon Edwards to the NY Jets. Early reports have the Jets giving up LB Jason Trusnick and draft picks - more as the story unfolds.

Edwards, a fifth-year veteran from Michigan, has caught 10 passes for 139 yards this season for the winless Browns. For his career he has 238 catches for 3,697 yards and 28 touchdowns, but faced criticism in Cleveland last season for the number of passes he dropped.

Posting and Toasting Johnny Flynn

Why is this dude not being compared to a Chris Paul? I see so many similarities and Chris Paul was not supposed to be the player he's turned into, being passed by the likes of Andrew Bogut, Marvin Williams and Deron Williams in the '05 draft.

He probably wont be the caliber player of a Chris Paul, but i have to believe his court vision, leadership, super-quick feet, ability to penetrate and his knack for coming up big in clutch situations will leave a lot of teams regret passing on him.
