He must have used the boatloads of cash to find and pay someone who actually doesn't suck to be him.  He got larger, tanner, and angrier, and really doesn't look like the Gil Meche who's scared of puppies and leaves that we all remember.  It's a Royals conspiracy, and that is not Gil Meche.  

Definitely caught and threw back Youkilis' homer at Citizens Bank Park last night.  A woman in my row gave me a free beer for it.  I felt liberated, like the prisoners in the Shawshank Redemption.

MLB finally takes offense at some roster shenanigans for the just about the first time in decades, deciding that the Phillies' move to pay the Rays to claim Livingston off waivers was inappropriate. Since that was nullified, the Reds, who also put in a claim, were awarded the soft-tossing left-hander. Livingston was 8-11 with 4.59 ERA, 165 H, 69/36 K/BB in 135 1/3 IP for Triple-A Tacoma last season.
