Is a Coaching Change on the Horizon?

Earlier on ESPN radio's Max andarcellus they actually mentioned the Angels and Mike Trout. Perhaps the biggest tidbit was how their reporter Pete Fox mentioned that to conclude their mini talk with Scoiscia he said " thanks and have a great offseason and see you next season" to which the Angels' manager responded "see you somewhere down the road" instead of a usual "see you later."

Candid Mike Trout Inteview Today on KLAC

Since Max and Marcellus have spent the past month or so fawning over Puig and calling him the most exciting young player in baseball in order to garner even greater ratings for their station (and has begun calling themselves the "Home of the Dodgers postseason" which by the way actually simulcasts Angels game many nights) I flipped it over to KLAC for Petros and Money and ran into a rare Mike Trout interview where good questions were asked. Among his disdain for WAR and sabre stats (which are killing his legacy) he responded to a direct question by Petros on his up-coming arbitration and his minimal raise last off-season. Among his brief indirect response was the quote 'The Angels have had me under their belt for a year...." Sure sounded a lot like a guy counting down to free agency and not a guy who feels like HE's the organization (when we ALL KNOW he is). Oh and we should keep Kohn at all costs.

Pujols to Take Legal Action Against Jack Clark

Well this is getting interesting. I wonder how, if at all, this could affect his rehab. Pujols is finally getting attention since coming to the Angels and for the wrong reasons.

Former high school pitcher recounts facing Trout

I read the Mike Trout's ridiculous performance on ESPN Grantland and this guy posted his blog post about facing Trout and beaning him in the back. Great read.

Pujols Speaks Out on Struggles Thus Far

Pujols discusses some of the adjustments he's been making and how that was affecting his performance. His family arrives on Sunday, just in time for a major homestand against the Yanks and Rangers. By the way he's playing now, it looks like he's very "eggsited!"

Apparently Vernon Wells has been a great influence on our young Angels

I'm not sure what the best part of this article is. Maybe it's the headline.
