I was actually listening to the station (1460 KXNO in Des Moines) when this incident occurred. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Evidentially the guy dropping the bombs (Marty Tirrell) was accused of using someone else's credentials at the Iowa High school basketball state tournament...and didn't take kindly to the accusations. There is much speculation on his future employment with the station. No word yet on an FCC response.
