I googled  LEACH' S contract on  the internet .  You can decide or speculate,  about the new items that were added to the new EXTENSION contract ,....  Leach stated these additions were unacceptable ,and the reason he is not  signing . Leach stated money was not the issue,and that 4 additions were added that were not on his previous  contract. [being this contract]  I personally found this  contract more than fair, very  simple and straight forward .,,,, What additions do you think is holding this contract fiasco up.      'What  We Have Here Is Failure To Communicate"-------Stick a fork in this whole dilema,,    It's really obvious Leach wants out .  New contract or not, he wants to go,,     I Think we really   need to get serious and start looking for someone for ourselves.    WE are siting here talking about all these speculated places Leach may go, when we need to be looking for  ourselves.    Do we really want a coach we have to bribe every year to stay.   Leach  has be discontent the last 3-5 years here in Lubbock, .  Its a travesty, i   wonder what our record  the last 3-4  years   would of been with him actually  being happy ,REALLY liking West Texas. Just another stepping stone school for a coach to use in there alter ego..    Leach has used Tech ,,looks at new schools every year,wants no buy out clauses,etc,...  Tech's  AD department could of rectified this problem earlier with "better communication", but Leach is  also at fault.  Leach wants his cake and eat it too,let Tech pay me why i look for something better.  I really didn't believe this until  about the last 3 years,but it is true.  With Leach or without,    we really need a coach that is here because they truly want to grow with Tech .[ Spike Dykes type,but better]... Meyer's you started this sh##,now finish it one way or the other ASAP, and lets move on.

      Did  we lose any commits after the massacre in  Norman?   Do we have any  good ones looking over the fence at us for next year. A big win in the COTTON BOWL right here in Texas would be a big shot in the arm for the undecided.    How many DTN fans out there   [really] , I MEAN REALLY.  feel good about  Ruffin matching defensive wits , with the other BIG 12  offensive coord. I personally think he's done more than a honorable job, but do not think  he is a BIG 12 def. coor..   a linebacker, def. line ,coach --  definitly  yes     Def coor   -no!    I think all next year we are going to hear the same line he used after Baylor game and OU game.     Does Tech   have any  QB'S in their coffers that have some mobility?  i.e.  like McCoy, Tebow, Bradford, Reisling,Ganz     Does Taylor Pootts have any mobility? Tech needs someone that adds that extra dimension, to their passing game.   Harrell  looks completly helpless when he is pressured.[ Bledsoe like] ...  B J  Symons had good  armand good  mobility in the pocket and ran for several 1st downs on third down situations when flushed from the pocket.
