James Neal only got one game for his reckless plays in Game 3. I dont under stand how a player can have two incidents just 42 seconds apart, both reckless, both jumping at a players head, and only get one game. I dont even know how they can believe that he was only jumping to brace himself for the first hit when he did it again 40 seconds later and has done it in the past as they stated. I know its all speculation and I have no idea what he was really thinking, but it certain looked like he knew what he was doing circling around going in for that hit. The NHL needs to really look at how they are handling suspensions. I had high hopes at the start of the year with Shanahan, but he doesn't show to be any more consistent than anything before. The NHL needs to start making some real suspension if they are as serious about head shots and player safety as they say they are. This one game stuff is a joke for hits like this.

We've had seats for 5 years and never had a problem until this year. After our original ticket agent, we've gone through 4 different ones because they keep leaving. Our current agent is making it difficult for us to even want to be a season ticket holder anymore. I started night classes and can no longer go to any of the Tues or Thurs games. Our new agent says their has always been a 5 game limit on turn ins even though none of the other agents went by it. I was wondering if any of the season ticket holders out there have had a harder time exchanging tickets this year. It used to be great when we were able to turn in for credit or exchange games we werent able to make it to. Its just been all hassle this year. We did not get the actual hard ticket book this year, can somebody please scan and link the exchange policy printed in as I cannot find it on the Dallas Stars site? Also, if it is listed in there, can you scan the season ticket holder prices diagram? I used to have it but can not longer find it. They are also giving us hassle about the upgrade charge for moving to another section. They charged us one prices earlier this year and are now trying to charge us more than double that.

While at a send off ceremony before taking the Stanley Cup to Bonavista, Michael Ryder set the Stanley Cup down on a table guarded by two police officers.  Then the table gave out.....  I think most people were in shock, because the cup sat on the ground for a little bit.  Its kind of funny to see him try to pretend it didnt happen and just turn the dent to the back of the table.

Just wanted to get some input from some of you guys on here.  We've had season tickets 5 years now.  Our original ticket agent, Ian, was great.  Always helpful and responsive.  He had left this year and his accounts passed around to other agents.  Our current agent isnt as helpful.  We may have just gotten spoiled with Ian, but we were thinking of asking for a new agent and wanted to see what you other season ticket holders thought of your agent and if its good, possibly their name so we could request them.

In doing so he kinda points out Mike Modano and Marty Turco as the reason he never fit in.

And the worst part is, he was a write in.  He wasn’t even on the All Star ballot and he still got 93,600 votes to Brad Richards 24,900.  Something about that is just wrong.  I know Brad Richards isn’t the most outspoken player in the NHL, but come on, the guy is currently 6th in the NHL in points and its not like its his first time being in the top 10.  For him to #44 on the All Star Ballot is ridiculous.  Maybe the people in Dallas showed up for the voting like they have been for the games recently.......

Man those first period goal are really nice.  Especially Gagnon's.  He has just enough patients to hold on to it and make the goaltender get out of position.  Daley's goal was nice too.  Coming up to intercept that pass and one timing it.  Hopefully we see a lot more of that shot from him this year.  He started to pull it together towards the end of last season.  There was a pretty good article on the Stars site about what he hopes to do this year

Much to the dismay of Nolan Ryan and Chuck Greenberg group, Mark Cubans lawyer has confirmed today that he has been cleared to bid on the Texas Rangers.  Mark Cuban has been linked to a few baseball team purchase rumors in the past, and this may be the quickest and easiest way for him to get into the MLB.  With the bankruptcy a lot of the traditional restrictions and processes put in place by the league will not fully come into play.

Modano confirmed today that the San Jose Sharks and the Minnesota Wild have called him recently.  Modano also said that Minnesota may want to have a face to face meeting soon.  In my opinion it is looking more and more like Modano is going to play another season.  If he does, I hope he chooses the Wild.  I dont think as much of the fan base would be as heartbroken if he ends up there versus the Sharks or Red Wings.

There were rumors going around saying that the Detroit Red Wings were interested in Modano.  Recently that was confirmed by the Red Wings GM Ken Holland and Mike Modano.  Although Modano did say the Red Wings are the only team to contact him so far.  Although Modano originally said he would only go where he felt confortable and listed all Pacific Division teams, I can see him having interest in his home town
