Great news for CP10

Good news for Chad Pennington. Even though he is done for the season, I'm just glad to hear this because he is simply a good person and if he wants to continue playing football next year, this will make it easier for him.

This guy has really had some bad breaks in terms of injuries so it is good to see that it is not another injury to his rotator cuff. Good luck CP10. Hope to see you back in MIA next year one way or another. Make it happen trifecta.

Season Tickets question

Dolphins +/- 7 wins?

Hey dolfans. I was really intruiged by the Vegas odds for the Dolphins total season wins. Attempting to put the homer in me aside, I truly honestly believe we can win 7 games this year. Here are some things that I've been considering.

I know people are saying the WC will not prosper anymore because D coordinators have found a way to shut it down, but I'm just not sold on it. I really do think our coaching staff can utilize this and let it still be a successful set. I love what one of our fellow phinsiders said (Sorry I dont remember who to give credit to!) it is not just a trick set or anything. Would you tally up how many yards or TDS resulted from a shotgun formation? A singleback formation? No. The WC is simply another set that the Dolphins have in their arsenal.

I really like the fact that we've brought Jason Taylor back. Although he did have a down season last year, you can tell he is ready to come back and show all the naysayers that he still has it. I am sure he won't play as much as previously when he was in MIA but i think he will be used more effectively. I know we have others like Merling and Langford that have shown tremendous flashes last year. I think if they progress, we should be fine in terms of pressuring the QB. I also have high hopes for Cammy Wake. Progress is all I expect to see with him. Even if his sack totals are 1/4 of what he had in the CFL, Ill take it,

I am still a bit worried about our secondary though for at least the first bit of the season. I know our young bucks will step up after a bit but I just hope those setbacks don't cost us valuable wins. Will Allen will be solid. You know what to expect out of him. The potential for our CBs though is great. I can't help but to imagine another Madison/Surtain combo in the backfield. That is what is so exciting.

Enough chatter... My point for posting this is to see what you guys all think about our season. Please don't allow the homer in all of us to rear its head right now. My question to you is simple. Do the Dolphins win over or under 7 games? Please elaborate below.

Hey guys... Imma make my first post short and sweet( or shall I say bitter due to the nature of the post)

It looks like Ron Ron is not going to re-up with the Rockets... Just saw this on his twitter page:

I responded back to him asking if that meant he was not going to sign with us. Waiting on his answer... Im really going to be sad if we can't lock up Artest.

I just wanted to say that I enjoy coming here to check out all the rocket related info and that I've got something to post because I wanted to share something funny I just saw. Our Dolphins have been in playoff mode for the past month or longer. They have had to win game after game to simply stay alive in the tough AFC East division and kudos to them for doing so. This has been a fantastic season, most enjoyable one I can remember besides our last playoff win.

There are a couple things I'd like to point out.

1. The dolfans at the stadium today were fantastic. Each and every one of you who made the trip out there, thank you. They were constantly cheering no matter what, even after Pennington's 4th pick. I loved it and am so happy we are COMPETITIVE again.

2. We all know we do not have nowhere near the talent that any of the Playoff teams have but we have HEART. I loved the attitude of this football team and Sparano. He makes every player on their team work their tails off and gets every ounce of talent and potential out of each and every player. I love it. The Dolphins may not have stepped it up today but thats because they already stepped it up as much as possible weeks ago. They were already playing at and above their potential. Overacheivers the whole season really.

Great job fans and players and coaches and everyone associated with the team. Thank you dolphins of 2008 and feel proud about this team dolphins.

Got a request for you guys

First off let me say congrats to the Dolphins and their continued determination and toughness. They pulled out another win and thus swept the Bills for the first time in IDK how many years. Thats also 2 weeks in a row without allowing a TD. Good stuff.

I love to watch the game but I feel like I'm hoping the game ends just to see the number in the win column increase by one. I need to enjoy the games more. I need to get amped up during the weekdays and get ready for sundays showdown. Also, I need to enjoy the victory more.

This is why im asking you guys to help me do this. Im down in Cali so fins coverage is basically non-existant. I dont know all the hot spots to get all the news, coverage, interviews, clips, etc from our phins. Sometimes I see great vids and clips on our site here and I love it.

My point is, can we have a weekly thread or something with all the vids and clips that we'd all love to see? Maybe a postgame interview of Ronnie Brown, highlights of the most recent game, funny quotes during the game, or basically anything dolphins related. Help me out guys and let me know what you think!

Will the game be replayed on NFL network?

Does anyone know if the game will be replayed on the NFL network? I'm trying to find out if they will because when I was watching the game, something happened and I only have the 2nd half recorded! I think the ones that are replayed are only like 90 min fast versions but that is still way better than only 1 half. I would like to think that would be considered one of the best games of the week.

Honest opinion, 49ers or Dolphins?

Alright guys simple question, who wins more games this year, the 49ers or the Dolphins? I live in the Bay area with a bunch of Niners fans here and they are all giving me hell about the Dolphins and I figured we would be in a position to possibly reel off more W's this year than the Niners.

What do you guys think? Wishful thinking or legitimate possibility? I have a feeling we will surprise this year fellas...
