I'm 52 years old and I have been a UK fan for almost 50 of those years -- fairly typical for a Kentucky boy I suppose. I moved away from the Bluegrass State at age 18 to go to school and, while I have not lived in Kentucky since, I always followed the Cats. I went to school for a long time and wound up with a PhD in engineering -- which included lots of formal training in statistics -- and today I'm in corporate strategy where I use this training to help guide business decisions. Simply put, I love playing around with numbers. When you combine the two aforementioned passions, you wind up with a guy that really has a thing for UK basketball stats. I joined this site at the suggestion of one of the regulars as a means to have some of my analyses and ideas vetted as well as engage with others who are fairly serious about UK basketball stats. If you are of a similar bent I hope you will enjoy reading my posts and I imagine I'll enjoy reading yours.
