I live for Blue Jackets hockey. I'm here to write alongside the tremendous crew at The Cannon. In my "free" time from my day job, I chase my infant son around, and am also a full-on music enthusiast, including a previous five-year stint as the drummer in a local Columbus rock band. I enjoy hitting the ice as well, and can often be found at the Chiller North in Columbus working on my skating and/or (lack of) hockey playing skills.

Last Chance To Save The Season

That might be a bit much, but this game--if the Jackets want to continue having playoff aspirations--is absolutely huge.

This weekend was, how you say, not good.

It's an early start time today, and all of us have too much to do. Here's your game day open thread!

This One HURT.

If there was any question about how the fans would react to Rick Nash's return, any and all bridges were scorched beyond recognition. Oh, and there was also a hockey game.

Stakes Never Higher

It's probably hyperbole to say that this game is the biggest game in franchise history, but to this date it kind of is. It's Rick Nash night, and these two teams both need these two points in an...

The horse race continues, with several clubs securing big wins last night. Oh, and there's that whole thing about tonight and the Rangers...

Il s'agit de devenir fou!

The Jackets have had a day to get over their tough loss on Tuesday. They now kick off a crazy run to finish the season, including FIVE back-to-backs. It's about to get crazy.

Everything that could go wrong, did.

The Calm Before the Storm

The Jackets welcome the free-falling Hurricanes to Nationwide before embarking on a ridiculous closing schedule to try to secure a playoff berth.

Not much happened last night, so not much looks different this morning for Columbus. But, Tampa Bay seems to have righted the ship a bit. Tonight, however, could be huge!

What a crazy weekend in the Metro, as the Flyers make a statement and the Rangers' struggles continue.

Mr. Todd's Wild Ride

Yes, that's a lame title. That said, it's going to be a wild run to the finish, and given how things ended up with the Wild last year and Todd Richards' history in Minnesota, I figured: why not?

Fedor Tyutin Activated Off IR

The Jackets announced that the defenseman is coming off IR; Cody Goloubef goes back to Springfield.
