I'll have to trust Niko's magic 8 ball prediction for McCown, because Leftwich will only slow this offense down. I just don't get it. Stafford will probably start and his team is horrible, Sanchez will start and he only started 19 games for USC...(Sigh) I need a valium. We will see this kid at some point this season.

After the dismissal of Gruden and Allen, I thought the flaws of this team would be erased if not improved. The extra cap space used on aging vets, the talent evaluation in the draft, and the west coast offense that never truly evolved. I felt this year's draft would be used to add depth to a declining defense. Instead of picking Peria Jerry to stuff the run i.e. Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams or Vontae Davis to replace Barber, Raheem picked Freeman. The concerns of his lack of footwork and success at K-State don't bother me, considering he was the only Wildcat taken and was backed by the worst defense in the Big-12. I am impressed and optomistic with his potential to give us our first 20 TD QB since Brad Johnson. If you are going to replace Jeff Garcia's 64.9 pass % with Journeymen who haven't proved to be able to solve this team's red zone woes, why wouldn't you start the player you traded up for when you could have had a possible shot at Tebow or Bradford next year? If Jags plans on a run heavy offense, why not get his feet wet? Experiment with new toys like Winslow who can't be covered by any linebacker, and this o-line that I would take over Pittsburgh and N.Y. any day. If healthy Ward and Graham will combine for at least 1,800 yds. If you continue a bold trend such as a first round QB, follow through and hope for this year's Matt Ryan or Big Ben. Don't think about it, just do it!

2011 Lineup and rotation?

Hey my name is Danny and i'm new and this is my first post. Now would probably not be the best time to make this post seeing that we are trying to bounce back from a sour 1st month. The offseason would probably be better but I just wanted to ask for shizits and grizits...what will the roster look like in 2011? Not 2010 I think it will be the same because Burrell will still be DH and all key players are under contract except for CC. I say let him walk we could use that 15% of the payroll to extend BJ and Pena. I suggested on a recent post we trade Kazmir and Niemman for Nate Mclouth in a three way with the m's and bucs that would send crawford to seattle but a few people disagreed. I think 2011 would be an interesting season with young talent coming to fruition. Will Davis and Hellboy be in the rotation to give us K factor? Who will anchor the bullpen when percy is gone after this year? Will we have an everyday rightfielder? Can Jennings replace crawford? Would Beckham turn out to be our Rabbit Maranville? I think our best years are ahead...do you agree?
