This likely means that either Blair would start, or come off the bench with Bonner to form their unique combo, if Tiago isn't ready to go. Hopefully he's good to go.

This is a lose-lose for the Spurs. If they win, the excuse will be "Kobe didn't play." If they lose, every Anit-Spur would try to humiliate us for losing to the "Kobe-less Lakers. Also this isn't a moral win; if a loss ensures, its a moral loss. However, I'm not to downgrade the other Lakers, because they are a solid team. This also annoys me because I wanted to see how the wing defenders of the Spurs would preform against The Mamba. All is well, though.

The Power Ranking Position of the Spurs

This Spurs team has been great. They compete on every level of the game; they defend, they rebound, and they score. However (not that many would care) ESPN tends to rank many other teams higher than the Spurs regardless of the circumstances. This really isn't a huge deal, but is a testament to the Spurs being "under the radar." The Spurs have a lock for the second spot, but I was wondering how ESPN would rank the teams.

Multiple arguments could be that "The Bulls have been playing exceptionally without Derrick Rose," or "The Celtics have been on a roll since the All-Star Break," or "LeBron has been playing injured." ESPN is likely to find a way to position the Spurs lower in the Power Rankings, which I don't mind, because I enjoy having the Spurs under the radar. This may be viewed as a pointless post, but I just wanted to hear some of the opinions of fellow Pounders.

Tony Allen: Manu Ginobili's injury is "for the birds"

This series, as we all know, has been a tough fight to the death. We've seen it all: ~~Bodies~~ Tony Allen flying everywhere, injuries, heartbreaks; the Modus operandi of a playoff series. As expected, each series has its fair share of trash talk. According the the incredible Tony Allen, Manu is faking his injury. "Everybody is banged up," Allen said. "You don't see me running to my PR guy telling him about an injury."

Not a smart move by Tony Allen. Apparently, he hasn't heard of the Dallas Mavericks. Naturally, Manu brushed his comment off. Hopefully, this feeds the ever-burning flame in Manu's heart.
