The Bulls are making a late push to get Rose voted into the All-Star game as a starter by placing placards on every seat for Saturday’s game against the Miami Heat. Rose is currently in third place for guards behind Celtics guard Rajon Rondo in the voting.

Rose and Rondo on the same team! :O Also, I'm not sure if this game has already happened, but it's playing on NBATV right now.

Blog a Bull Quick look back and ahead at the Bulls/Raptors race

[From the Fanposts. I've been without Comcast service for the entire weekend, so nothing new and exciting for you today. But we can talk schedule: Bulls have caught a break (literally, ha!) with Andrew Bogut's injury hampering (and perhaps demoralizing, though never count out Skiles) the Bucks as the come into the United Center on Tuesday.

Toronto has a much tougher opponent in Cleveland, though they've just clinched home court throughout the playoffs and have nothing to play for anymore. At least they face the Bulls once again too in these potentially LeBron-resting games. First round opponent, don't want to show the Bulls too much...or something? -ed.]

The Warriors just beat the Raptors in Toronto.. even though they tried their best to give it away.

Chris Bosh had 42 and 12 and got a little bit of contribution from Andrea Bargnani and Jarrett Jack, with 18 and 19 respectively.  All other Raptors scored in single digits.

They went up big on the Raptors early in the game, but in the 4th quarter, the Raptors scored 33 to the Warriors' 25 to nearly steal the game back.

But they didn't.

Thanks Golden State.  :)

Blog a Bull John Salmons and the Milwaukee Bucks - a possible future?

Ever since Michael Redd went down with injury back in January, the Bucks have been playing well.  With the acquisition of John Salmons from your very own Chicago Bulls, the Bucks are one of the hottest teams in the Eastern Conference.  Salmons has lead the team in scoring in most of their games since the trade.  With Bogut healthy and Jennings being more of a distributor, the Bucks seem to have found themselves.  They've certainly found their way into the 5th seed in the East.  However, they are gearing up for the 2011 FA class.

With all of this in mind, would the Bucks be willing to sign an extension with Fish?  He is proving as valuable to the Bucks as he was to us at this point last year, and he seems to have made the injury-prone Michael Redd dispensable.  With credit to sdsowlsa on this Bucks fanpost (http://www.brewhoop.com/2010/3/8/1362612/its-march-and-the-bucks-are-still) the Bucks record with Redd: 6 – 12. Their record without Redd: 27 – 17.  Obviously, not having Redd playing has helped Milwaukee.  Salmons has gotten them off to a hot 10-1 start since the All-Star break.

What do you think the Bucks should do with Fish?

Blog a Bull Thoughts on James Johnson?

From what I can gather from the game thread, a few people were clamoring for his return to the court after he proved he could play some defense against the Hawks tonight.  He had a couple of nice blocks and seemed to bother Joe Johnson a little bit.

In my opinion, I always liked JJ, even when he was playing way to fast for his own good (and sucking).  Maybe it's because I like point-forwards.. and JJ looks like he could be a decent one.  He has shown to have adept passing skills.  He works hard on the defensive end, or he did tonight anyway.  He can shoot threes (and has shown a general willingness to do so, unlike foot-on-the-line Luol, who don't get me wrong, I like[him, not the foot... blahblahblah]) and runs the floor well.

If I were Vinny (thankfully, I'm not), I would take all of ParD'oh!'s minutes and give them to JJ to allow him to develop on his own, on the court, playing through his mistakes while everyone begins to fall in love with him.

What do you think?  Did you warm up a little bit to the seemingly forgotten 1st rounder?

Blog a Bull On the very unlikely chance we land LeBron...

The Bulls plans in the summer of 2010 is to sign one of the guards (JJ or Wade) and then try and do a trade to get a PF (KC said this before a game before the all-star break.. not sure which one.  Can't find the link either).

What if the Bulls somehow got LeBron instead of the guards?  Deng has suddenly become very expendable, and a vital piece to trade for a PF.

What do you think the Bulls do with the trade?  Deng and who else for the PF?  Would the Bulls consider trading Rose to get that PF?  And finally, who might that PF be?  It's all just speculation, but it's kind of valid considering LeBron could still leave the Cavaliers.

Blog a Bull Shooting Guard Free Agent

We all know the Bulls are looking to grab a big free agent over the summer, and a lot of us believe the Bulls will go after a SG in Joe Johnson or D-Wade.  Others want a low post scorer in Bosh or Stoudamire.

Let's just say that the Bulls get Bosh/Stoudamire.  This most likely takes JJ and D-Wade out of the picture.

How would you all feel if the Bulls managed to grab J.J. Redick?  He's the 3 PT shooter the Bulls desperately need, and he is a high IQ player that would work well with Derrick.  Not to mention that Redick is in the middle of his best season so far as a pro.
