3

An interesting second part of a two part article which compares Grich's peak years as an Orioles and as an Angel against other second basemen of the era

Bobby Grich's Peak Seasons With The Orioles

+

Article takes an in-depth look at Grich's best years in Baltimore and compares him to other second basemen of the time

Earl Weaver and the Malleable Process

+

Weaver doesn't get mentioned until halfway through the article but it's worth a read, even if you just skip to the Weaver parts. How often do you get to see Glenn Gulliver's name get brought up?

Mega contract extension hasn't changed Trout on, off field

A nice change from the "Trout strikes out too much" articles that ESPN and Fangraphs have been posting

Bobby Grich Was The Victim of Some Bad Baseball Cards and Some Even Worse Hall of Fame Voting

I came across this article on Bobby Grich's baseball reference page. I know he played longer for the Angels but being a fan of both teams, I can appreciate players like Grich, Baylor, Ford, Aase, and DeCinces from that era.

This is an interesting article I came across on Bobby Grich's baseball reference page. It starts out kind of comedic but is actually a serious article about Grich's overlooked HOF case.

25th anniversary: Gene Mauch retires

I had forgotten Mauch retired from health concerns, for some reason I always remember him being fired after such a disappointing '87. Anyways, other than Scioscia, he's probably the best mgr in Angels' history.
