Rutgers' season is over. Citing guard exhaustion and some nagging injuries, Mike Rice announced his team won't be participating in a post season tournament for the 7th straight year. The Scarlet Knights appeared to be close to turning the corner, after two wins over bottom feeders and a very good second half against Notre Dame. However, one tends to wonder if some more games would have helped this team's development. Now the nagging question, did Rutgers get better this year?
Too bad.

Mike Rice is still the head coach of Rutgers basketball. Most expect him to still be that coach next year, but that doesn't stop the rumblings from starting. An editorial out of Providence speculated the URI coach is on his way to the banks after this season is over.
