I know what you're thinking...

"This idiot tried to make everyone think he was posting about the Edmonds pickup and now I'm stuck reading something stupid."

Wait! Don't go!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am new on BCB. I have lived in Minneapolis, MN most of my live and was born and raised a Twins fan. For many years of my childhood, I had never heard of the crazy idea of a pitcher BATTING!!! I moved to Chicagoland a few years ago, and was introduced to Wrigley Field by some friends of mine. I hope you all believe in love stories because this was love at first sight! I had only heard about Wrigley Field and Cub Nation and all it's antics, never really experienced it all... Since being a Cubs fan, I've never felt so "right" about anything in my life. In Minnesota, we'd get in fights with... "Royals" fans... and you'd be on your own. At Wrigley, you get in REAL fights with Cardinals fans and Brewers fans! Best part about it all, you have 40,000 crazy fans to back you up! The sense of unity in Cub Nation is like none other.

Sorry for boring you all, but I had to introduce myself. Al, GREAT job with this site. It is like nothing I've ever seen! I had been settling for cubs.com for the past few years and this is so refreshing! Al, I hope I can meet you sometime, I go to about 30 games a year and I'm almost always in the Bleachers!

I look forward to a long, illustrious career of Cubs blogging with you all!

GO CUBS
