Quick Poll About The Jets
Guys and ladies, I have a quick question. We have made some moves in the off season so far, and there are a lot of people out there (Mostly Jets Haters) saying that big moves don't mean that the results will follow, while there are others that say we have brought in dysfunctional players that will cause a distraction. The question I pose to you is with the moves that have been made thus far do you feel we are improving and will we see that improvement in wins during the season?
***My Opinion is that we have added players that have something to prove and so far all the additions have cost us very little. I also think that we are about to part ways with K.Clemons and L. Washington possibly for more draft picks, and the draft is just another opportunity to fill holes and add depth....But I wanna know what you think????
Why Odrick Over Hughes?
This is something that I don't understand???
Why is it that the majority of the people on this site given the chance would take Odrick over Hughes? I ask this question because I reviewed the tape on both of these guys and to me the stand out is Hughes. There are many plays were Odrick takes a bad angle or is not even a factor in the play. However with Hughes he is a monster! Even on plays that he takes a bad angle he has the speed to correct it and make a play, he has a motor that does not stop. He is 6'1" and 255lbs runs a 4.6 40 and was an all state RB in high school. He reminds me of Terrell Suggs who was 6'3" 251lbs coming out of college. If we have the opportunity to draft Hughes for me that is a dream come true, I notice that 43% of the people that voted in the mock draft voted for Odrick, What I Wanna Know Is WHY??????
Assessing the Defense
I have been a fan of Gang Green for a while now. Over the last few off seasons I have been almost as excited as during the season watching all the movement to improve the team. I like the moves that have been made so far this year, but I wanted to hear the feedback of others.
Kerry Rhodes trade...was it good or bad?
Cromartie and Revis in the same secondary is an awesome thought...Do you agree?
We brought in Brodney Pool....Do you think this will fill the need at FS or should we go after maybe a guy like Sharper or pursue a Safety through the Draft?
Here is a long shot...We now have a bunch of picks in this years draft, do you think that we will be making any last minute swaps to move up in the 1st round? and if so who do you think will be worth the gamble?
Again, I'm thrilled that the Jets have come alive and are working hard to win games even in March. I feel that last year, defensively was a great season if we go by stats. There were a few games that we gave up late scores that cost us the win, so there was a need for improvement. I like the steps that have been taken so far to make that leap, overall I believe that next years D will be even more dominate espically in "Crunch Time". But I wanna hear what you think.
