does anyone know where i can get up to date warp3 numbers? i am also wondering what people view as the single best stat to gauge the value of a player. win shares, warp3, vorp, etc.? thanks in advance for the help and info on these stats. and since i am told i have to say more in the diary, who do people think is the best choice for NL MVP? it seems to be pujols, howard and beltran as the most discussed, with miguel cabrera getting some love too. thanks!

Question on BABIP

what is a league average number for BABIP? i was looking at the stats for the leading mvp candidates in the NL and noticed how much lower the BABIP's of beltran and pujols are compared to most of the other guys in the top ten for RC/game. beltran is at .277 and pujols is at .275, while howard is at .346, as are many others. what is a baseline average for BABIP over the course of a season? at what point is a player unlucky or lucky on balls in play? thanks in advance for any help.

now that he's been called back up by the D-rays, does anyone know what they plan on doing with him? you'd have to assume he's a better bet than dan miceli. anyone familiar with the rays with some insight, it is welcome. thanks! and since i've just been told to take up more space, any thoughts on upton being called up since lugo is on the DL?

i'm curious to see what people think milledge will do this eyar in Triple A, which is where i assume he will start the year. obviously ST games aren't the highest level of talent, but milledge has done well, better than i expected anyway. he obviously needs to improve his plate discipline and his sb % to be a more effective player. that said i am interested in the opinions people have on what his performance will be like this year. thanks in advance!

hi, i haven't much lately on what the D-rays are planning on doing with Upton this year. are they still looking to switch his position? is he going to start the year at durham or in the majors? if he plays a full year, what sort of numbers do people think he'll put up? and i'm pretty sure he is still eligible for RoY, am i right in this? thanks for any opinions and thoughts on the topic.

hope you don't mind me stealing one of your article titles john. hi everyone, was wondering what everyone, especially met fans, would do as the mets GM. are they buyers? are they sellers? whats your plan for this year and for next year and beyond? what should be done with reyes, does he need some time in AAA to learn patience? thoughts on randolph continuing to bat wright 7th most nights. thoughts on randolph as a manager. feel free to include any minor league promotions you feel are due (milledge, bannister, petit, etc.) John, i'd love to hear your thoughts on this as well if you have the time. cheers.
