Devout sports fan living on the bleak frozen prairie of Canada, though the summers get super nice (shh don't tell). When I'm not consuming information at the local knowledge repository (going to college) I can be found on the field of (Rec League Soccer) battle or attending every other Jets home game.

Started as an author with Arctic Ice Hockey in November of 2011, and became a Site Manager in February of 2012.

Wrote with the Manitoban as a Sports Reporter in the 2012-2013 school year.

Enrolled in Creative Communications at Red River College, looking to major in Public Relations.

Former Jet Brett MacLean Suffers Cardiac Emergency; Currently In Hospital


TSN is reporting tonight that former Winnipeg Jet, and current Phoenix Coyote, Brett MacLean suffered a cardiac emergency while playing hockey in Owen Sound on Monday night. MacLean, 23, spent time with the Jets and Coyotes last year, putting up 2 assists in 5 games with the Jets, and 25 goals and 23 helpers with the Coyotes' affiliate San Antonio Rampage.
