Let me start by saying that I have been a Fitz supporter even when Trent was on the team. I now feel like I have made excuses for him (even if just to myself) for the past 3 seasons. I could just...
I'm not one for extreme or nonsense trash talking (AKA NY Jets), but I do like the new attitude I've been seeing here the last two years.
This is more of a question/debate provoking post than anything else, but why did we let Lynch go again? Why did we draft Spiller? I know Spiller was the best choice available at that spot and that...
I thought it was rather entertaining. How have you reacted if we drafted Sanchez?
Living in Long Island, I love how this title just rolls off the tongue!
Growing up in "Downstate" New York and having the Jets and Giants shoved down my throat since I was in Diapers, it was always hard to be a Bills fan around these parts but one of the real reasons I...
This post is more of a question to my very informed Rumbler's than anything else. Now that we have benched Trent Edwards, yet again, and probably for the last time, are there any veteran QB's that...
Do I need a description? It's Jim Kelly...........
Quarterbacks commonly are referred to as field generals. Bill Simmons likes to watch movies. So he smushed the two together and came up with his quarterback rankings as portrayed by favorite war movies of his generation. Of course, he put Bills Trent Edwards LAST, comparing him to the movie "Apocalypse Now" saying: "It's always fun when a QB sucks, but especially when fans are in deep denial and say things like, "If he had time to throw, I think he'd have a chance to be good" (like Bills fans do with Edwards). ... Deep denial. It's a dangerous drug." What do you think, are we in "Deep Denial"? Are Sanchez and Henne LEAPS and BOUNDS better?
Sports Illustrated predicts the New York Jets will win the AFC East, but won't claim the Lombardi Trophy. Sports Illustrated senior writer Peter King forecasts the Jets and New England Patriots will finish 10-6, with the Jets winning the tiebreaker and the Patriots going into the playoffs as a wild card along with the Baltimore Ravens. King pegs the Miami Dolphins at 9-7 and the Buffalo Bills at 2-14. ----------------------- 2-14? I know Buffalo has a few holes to address but 2-14 with Jets and Pats finishing 10-6? Last I checked, they had a few problem areas to address themselves.
... do they get their point across? Being a Bills fan here in Long Island, NY, I have come across an obnoxious JET fan here and there. When they're winning, they love their jets and when they're...
I was tooling around nfl.com this morning, avoiding all the paperwork I have on my desk and I was looking at last seasons highlights and post game conferences and one thing cam to mind. I really...
Funny how things just seem to stay that same!
Is it just me, or does it seem as though, especially in the last few years, that Buffalo beats themselves before stepping onto the field? I have never seen coachs/players make so many excuses for a loss. I am addicted to Buffalo Rumblings and I do see that the better portion of the people on this site know WAY more about the inner workings of offense/defense/football in general, than I do. How many seasons have we been playing against the 3-4 defense? Why have we never seriously addressed this issue? I think I remember Trent saying "I was impressed with their defense, etc" and "3 of the players on their defense went to the pro-bowl", or "We have to be better prepared for this kind of defense". That sounds to me, like someone's making excuses. Dick Jauron - "It was a disappointing night," Jauron said. "The good news is that it's preseason. We knew we had a long way to go, and this should show us that we have a long way to go. We've got to get back to work on Monday." We started camp a week early? We played an extra pre-season game due to the HOF. Why do we have "Such a long way to go"? Anyway, the link above is a good article. After reading the articles you guys post on this site I always think to myself "Wow, these guys really know their stuff", so it would be nice to haer what you think about my random thoughts / the above article.
Gotta love that Mr. Wilson! He's a class act in my book.

I live in Long Island, New York so I dont really hear too much Buffalo chatter in the newspaper/T.V, etc. (obviously, it's all Jets/Giants), but can someone please tell me what the coaching/GM...
