If your like me you've had enough of the QB debate or just fancy a break then I would like to have a quick look at the other needs that the team needs to address through Free Agency or have they already covered them?

Offence

Apart from the great QB debate that isn't going away what are the areas of concern.

Interior OL - One new addition that is currently slated to cover Centre with Berger to backup, doesn't seem to be too much of any issue with centre and hopefully Nate Garner coming back will provide a bit more quality at Guard with hopefully Jerry and Incognito stepping up their game. Overall medium concern that everybody gels and opens some holes.

Tackles - Long is a stud so no problem there and Carey is a good RT so not a problem with the starters. The main concern I have is with the back-ups as we saw last year Long misses a couple of series and the line is in all types of trouble and if Carey gets banged up again then who is going to step up. Seriously we need some good cover to spell them and let them rest for a couple of series so that hopefully they have a long and healthy season.

WR - If the addition of a pace man and another years experience for Bess and Hartline this unit seems set as long as Marshall behaves himself and doesn't get suspended (I know a big IF there).

RB - Overall we need a pace back, but what about Sheets if he is fit and well hopefully he can cover this role. But seriously with the talent looking to be available when Free Agency starts then hopefully the addition of a quality RB should provide the quality and depth needed. But who?

FB and TE - Hopefully Polite can get back to being the monster he was and Fasano stays injury free. None of the back-ups at TE have impressed me but hopefully Clay can step up to be the second TE otherwise we may need to explore Free Agency, is there anybody available?

Okay, following the fan post your favourite move or non-move of the off-season I thought well what about your least favourite move by the team as this is always something thats likely to get a debate started.

Plus there is the option of following this up at key milestones in the season to see how opinions change.

Topics to pick from:

• Players cut who may come back to haunt us and we all know about that, i.e. Vonnie Holiday (mainly cut due to money), John Beck (personally I think this was a mistake, but we'll see);
• Players that we allowed to leave, i.e Andre Goodman or Renaldo Hill, both good players in their prime but both fulfilling key roles;
• Players that have been bought in via free agency or trades i.e. Grove, Burger, Daniels;
• Positions not strengthened through the draft, i.e Defensive Tackle;
• Positions over recruited in the draft where we could have picked up one player and then someone else for the second player i.e. Corner, Wide Receiver;
• Realistic Free Agent Acquisitions, this is a tough one what do you class as realistic? Well for the purposes of this I would say players that wouldn't have killed the salary cap;
• Somebody signed to a multi-year expensive contract, you don't think deserves it, can't think of any example of the top of my head;
• Players not already signed to multi-year contracts and so coming into contract years, i.e. Ronnie Brown
• And any other player based changes that have occured or not occured during the off-season that you didn't like.
  
The easiest way to do this for people to but the move they didn't like in the topic of their comments and then if people can comment below, so its easier to scroll down and look at what the thoughts are. (I was going to try a ballot, but there were too many options, but if a top 10 comes out then I'll try that as a follow up.)

WR

This is the simple decision, the off season has been about how we need a legitimate no 1 receiver and some people think we'll get it through the draft. The main problem with this logic is that towards the beginning of the off season the consensus was that we needed to trade for a leader of the WR corps somebody who has been there done that and can help the very young WR we already have. Drafting a WR won't fill that need, we have four good young WR's in Camarillo, Bess, Ginn & London. 2 are coming into that magical third season and the other two are coming into the second season. The only real need we have that usurps other requirements is the need for a veteran to be the older wiser and stable influence on the others. I think that Parcells will do what he did last year and look at late round picks or Free Agents after the draft.

OLB, unless we pick up a DE/OLB to fit into the rotation, we have already picked up two very good prospects in the off season with Cameron Wake and Eric Walden. Plus we already have Charlie Anderson, Quentin Moses and Matt Roth who have already had one season learning the defensive scheme. So I think this is an area that we already have covered.

Personnally I think we'll pick up a DB or MLB, unless someone absolutely stellar drops and if there is nobody of the right value in one of those positions, expect us to trade down to pick up more drafts later. Or I think that this is one year that we might see us trade up to pick up one of those propsects.
