I only do this once in a blue moon, but I was sitting here watching the free preview of the MLB packagge on TWC, and got to thinking. "Self, before last season is totally forgotten, what have the main topics of conversation been this year at BCB?" I thought to myself, "that's not a bad question, self".

Last year I remember much of the bitching and rejoicing being over Estrada, 50 HR, Braun, and not being able to take walks as a team.

So, what has this season been about to you?

I won't even give options. Its open-ended.

Game Thread #31b

I really would not like to be swept by the Astros. Fortunately, Ben Sheets probably feels the same way. He's matching up with Chris Sampson, which normally wouldn't feel like a fair fight, but this weekend, it seems like Houston has been spotted three home runs per game.

I answered some questions for the SBN Astros blogger; you can read what I have to say here. And here's the BR Game Preview. The action starts at 1:05 CT.

Project-a-tron gives the Brewers a 57.43% shot at winning today's contest. That's about the same margin by which it favored the Astros in the opener, and we all know how that turned out.

Go Brewers!

Old one got too slow

Ticket question

Okay, I have a question for anybody who feels like answering. In January, I bought 2 9packs of tickets. I recently got an invoice from the club that says I don't owe anything on the bill, but at the bottom it says that a 50% down payment is required to guarantee my seat locations. Does this apply to me? Could I potentially lose my seats and or Opening Day tickets? I'm confused as all hell on this, and don't have much time during the work day to call my ticket salesman. I figured this would be the next best place to ask. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance,
        Deke

According to metsblog.com, the Mets offered Johnny along with Lastings Milledge in today's trade with the Nats. The Nats DECLINED. It sounds like the Metropolitans are just going to release Estrada.

Ahahahahahahahahahahah!
