Great game. Gotta feel good about getting 2 of last 3 against winning teams. Dallas held Phoenix to NINE points in the 4th.
Avery made a nice adjustment putting George on Stoudamire.
Still, I don't know why we played so much half court jump-shot ball this game. Where was the fast break aggressiveness that won us the GS game? Even with the 4th quarter Phoenix breakdown, it took DIrk playing the hero to pull this one out. Let's hope Dirk gets to rest a bit against the Seattle. Go Mavs!!

I'm wondering..Why didn't the Mavs go after Chris Webber? I think he'll make Golden State more dangerous, as he is still a capable scorer a good passer. Just seems to me that if he was a bench player for the Mavs, it could help a little with the double teams on Dirk. Webber has mentioned Dallas before, I don't see what the problem would be.

Also, do you think the Mavs will want to make a move on Stoudamire? With Devin injured for a while it seems like a good idea.

I really like the lineup the Mavs have now, and think making a trade would be risky; But, if the Mavs can add without sacrificing their players, why not?
