Blazer's Edge 1/1/2/2/s/n/o/w/j/u/n/k/

How to drive in snow:

  • The first step is to not clean your car properly. That means that you will leave snow everywhere and just scrape a little circle on the driver's side so you can see just right in front of you. Do not clean the whole window including the back windows and side mirrors. Best of all though leave all the snow on top of your car so that when you are driving, large amounts of packed snow can fall on other cars and possibly cause them to wreck.
  • The next thing you want to do in order to cause an accident is to hit the break lots of times and really hard. Don't tap the breaks lightly or try to avoid hitting them at all which is what safe drivers do, you want to make sure to skid past the red light and run into the car in front of you. In addition, go really fast and fly into a ditch.

  • Remember that you own an SUV; therefore, you are KING OF THE ROAD and nothing can stop you. Go ahead and speed, making sure to change lots of lanes which increases your chance of an accident much more likely. Follow other cars very closely and drive aggressively. Hey, it's not your fault other cars did not get anti-lock breaks or 4WD!

  • If you follow these DO NOT's in bad weather, I can almost guarantee that you will increase your chances of possibly killing yourself and other's.

  • Hopefully, after reading these tips you will be able to perform just like these drivers in our area:

Finally, I leave you with a question to ponder from the Philosoraptor

Blazer's Edge CANT TOUCH THIS - 10/9/10 junk

Have you ever met a girl that you tried to date but a year to make love she wanted you to wait? Let me tell ya a story of my situation I was talkin' to this girl from the U.S. nation. The way that I met her was on tour at a concert. She had long hair and a short miniskirt. I just got onstage drippin', pourin' with sweat I was walkin' through the crowd and guess who I met. I whispered in her ear, "Come to the picture booth so I can ask you some questions to see if your hundred proof." I asked her her name, she said blah-blah-blah. She had 9/10 pants and a very big bra. I took a couple of flicks and she was enthused. I said, "How do you like the show?" She said, "I was very amused." I started throwin' bass, she started throwin' back mid-range but when I sprung the question, she acted kind of strange. Then when I asked, "Do ya have a man?" She tried to pretend, she said, "No I don't, I only have a friend."

Come on, I'm not even goin' for it
This is what I'm goin' sing

    Blazer's Edge 8/31/2010.Junk.

It's been a fun ride yo. Y'all have kept me entertained for a year and a half but it's time I go. I think its pretty obvious to you and I that this place would be better without me. There are some places where you just feel uncomfortable and unwanted and this is that place for me. I spent quite a while trying to fit in with you guys but i feel like its been a big waste of time and effort and I think that I need to take that time and effort and invest it into other places in my life. I've been through a lot around here and I truly appreciate those who have accepted me. I've had the great pleasure of meeting a few of you in person and those are the people that I will never forget. Some of y'all have just been plain richards so I think this departure is best for both you and I. Maybe, in time, I'll drop by and say hi. I leave bedgebowl in the hands of dtl and xman and hope y'all continue it and have fun doing what I love. So yeah, dtl, phil, brp, idol, prez, dougall, hd, tin, elgin, 323, appel, ek, x, and giantblazer, y'all are cool and I'll miss y'all. Everyone else, have a nice life.

One more thing before I go. There is something special inside each and every one of you that makes you unique. Sometimes it's obvious and we embrace it quickly, other times it is elusive and you may spend your whole life searching and not finding out what makes you stand out from the crowd. Whatever you do, no matter how long it takes or how much effort it takes, find that thing that makes you special because that is where true happiness lies.

    Blazer's Edge Junk 7/28........2012?

Hi. My name is Tyler. I'm 19 years old. I like long walks on the beach and sharing ice cream on summer days. I dunno, uhh what I'm not looking for is some fat overgrown monster that is always thinking of food. I bowl a lot so for us to really bond you need to know how to handle balls. My email is in the profile. Hit me up.

I watched 2012 today for the first time. It was weird. Am I a bad person for laughing at Los Angeles getting destroyed? I thoroughly enjoyed watching the city get ripped apart. Is that bad? I mean I am tolerant of lots of people but for some reason people from Los Angeles just get on my nerves. Oh maybe it's cause all of them are like this:

    BEdge Bowling @ 20th Century Lanes Friday 7/9 @ 6pm

Hey fellow BEdgers...just wanted to get the word out that a few of us were planning on meeting up this Friday at 20th Century. Not completely sure on the pricing yet but it should be about 2 bucks for shoes and 2-3 bucks a game.

So far Drivethelane, Philthyanimal, Giantblazer, Dougall5505, Idoltime, Baylor22, Prezofdeath, Appel, and yours truly, with a few others who are undecided are down. We've got 3 lanes reserved so the more the merrier. Leave a comment if you're interested and so I can get a quick count of how many people we expect. Unless you're a lurker then just show up :)

    Blazer's Edge 5/29 WEEKEND JUNK

THIS IS A WEEKEND LONG JD!

Now, this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
    Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the outcast of a website called bedge

In north portland born and raised
On the xbox was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some punks on halo 2
    When a couple of guys
Who were up to no good
Startin modding in the gulch of blood
I got killed like 60 times and my homie got mad
he said 'We're quittin this game and playin some wow'

I begged and pleaded with him day after day
But he made me an account and made me play
he gave me some gold and then he gave me my ticket.
I put my iTunes on and said, 'I might as well kick it'.

First class, yo this is bad
playin my shaman tossin totems in the grass.
Is this what the people of bedge living like?
    Hmmmmm this might be alright.

But wait, I hear they annoying, boring, whine, and all that
Is bedge the type of place that they should send this cool cat?
    I don't think so
I'll see when I get there
I hope they're prepared for the outcast of Bedge-Air

Well uh, then I got to 80 and when I got out
There was dave who looked like a cat standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get banned yet.
    I just got here!
I mashed enter with the quickness, like lightening disappeared

I whistled for cab and when he came near
The sig said fifty two and he had red hair
If anything I can say is that cab was rare
But I thought 'Man forget it' - 'Yo home to the Junk Air!'

I pulled up to the GDT about seven or eight
And I yelled to cabbie 'Yo homes dont mod meh'
    I looked to Ang
    I was finally there
To sit on my own, as the outcast of bedge-air

Injuries, as you no doubt already know, are the first thing that has to be brought up when discussing the Portland Trail Blazers. They’re the reason that this team couldn’t throw itself into the ring amongst the championship hopefuls this season.

And, moving forward, they’ll likely be the reason why the Blazers don’t contend from here on out.

    Blazer's Edge Junk Drawer - August 31st

What is your favorite kid song? Kids songs are amazing things because they avoid the irreversible damages of Alzheimer's.

She could sing every kids song on the recording she had listened to 60 years ago.

When doctors explain differences between short and long term memory, what becomes clear is that our abilities as children were special. Our brains were wired differently, and our perception was instinctive. We were powerful learning machines.

She not only remembered the lyrics to every kids song, but the melody was precisely imprinted as well, and she knew it all by heart - all the minor details, every dynamic and stylistic change. But she could not remember what she had for lunch.

There's something truly amazing about long term memory - being able to recall distinct events from one's youth with clarity. As we age, we lose many of these old recollections, but some remain with a vividness that is astonishing. And for many individuals, this long term memory is imprinted in ways that make it more durable than the short term memory of daily events in the present.

And after each kids song ended, her memory was so good that she could announce the next one, singing each in the order it appeared on the recording through all 16 songs. Yet she was unable to recognize her own daughter.

This poor woman's story has a powerful message that those of us who write for children must acknowledge. It is clear that kids' minds are special. That kids are empowered in ways that adults are not. Young children far surpass their parents in the ability to learn new languages, melodies, and other audio stimuli.

If we recognize these unique abilities of young minds, as creators of music and songs for kids, we take on some special responsibilities. We must make an effort to never underestimate the intelligence of the child. It is our duty, when creating kids songs to implant smart ideas, and to encourage discovery outside the box. Those littlle ears are taking it in and learning it cold. Perhaps 60 years or more later, they will still remember what we piped in when they were young.

So yes, it's kids songs. And these kids songs are more important than you realize. Rattling around in our brains are all those unique memories associated with melodies, implanted at a time when we were better able to handle cognitive stimuli. And when over time, we forget everything else, we'll probably still be singing some kids songs. We want them to be worth remembering.

So I'm sitting here in the other JD watching Planet Earth thinking about how awesome our planet is because there's water and trees and people and fish and dogs and elephants and sharks and trees and chickens and crows and bugs and sand and mountains and grass so I wondered what your favorite part of the earth is cause I think it would be totally awesome to go kick it in antarctica with the penguins and whatnot. Phew one really long run on sentence. Where would you like to visit any why?

Blazer's Edge Going Green - Junk of the seventeenth

In honor of me making my goal of having 1000 comments by August 15th I have decided to dedicate this JD to the environment. Using the right kind of energy is important these days. The use of fossil fuels such as oil and coal are killing our environment. We must look at using certain types of energy such as solar power, hydro power, and wind power. Through the combined use of these renewable energy sources we can drastically reduce our emissions that destroy our environment.

    Blazer's Edge 8/10 - Wooooh

    Leprechauns, are they real?

In Irish folklore, a leprechaun is a type of male fairy, usually taking the form of an old man, clad in a red or green coat, who enjoys partaking in mischief. Like other fairy creatures, they have been linked to the Tuatha Dé Danann of Irish mythology. Popular depiction shows them as being no taller than a small child. Their trade is that of a cobbler or shoemaker.
