Talking Chop No Hanson or Medlen?

Well people I have almost but concluded that the Braves may not even think about bringing either of these two youngsters up before the expansion of rosters.  A few things lead me to think this, and I'll see what yall think.  The Braves have Glavine coming back from injury and is looking pretty solid to at least make ONE more start in the bigs before he calls it quits.  This coupled with the signing of Tony Armas Jr. and then quickly promoting him to AAA for Jerome Gamble who had a 2.25 ERA? Not sure about that but I'll give Tony the benefit of the doubt right now because he hasn't given up a run in either games he pitched in ( one for Mississippi and one for Gwinnett).  So these two reasons make me believe that Tony is the insurance if Glavine goes down  . . . again.  This is unfortunate but maybe the Braves are looking ahead.  Down the road this season, and I stress this season,  the rotation is gonna look like this . . . Lowe, Hudson, Jurrjens, Vasquez, Kawakami.  The Braves may not want to bring Medlen or Hanson up and when Hudson gets back have to send them back down wasting an option in the process not to mention having them lose confidence. I do not see them sending Kawakami anywhere right now especially to AAA and who sends a guy making 8 million to be your long reliever?  Just a few things that I wanted everyone to think about. Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Go Braves

Talking Chop Kelly Johnson :-(

Hey, is there any way that we could just have kelly as a bench player now. His OBP is almost at .300 and he really is crippling our ever struggling offense.  I say its time for infante to show he can play every day. His OBP is .400 and I think given the ABs that he could have just as much power as kelly with more speed.  He has hit 16 homers before and god knows he cant have any more errors at second than kelly has had.  I'm just saying put infante at second and leadoff and leave him there.  Also, my last post about Barbaro Canizares still stands as an option.  I really could care less about his defense right now and more about how we need some offense in our lineup. His numbers right now are .337 BA, 5 HRs, 14 RBI, .391 OBP, and a .554 slugging.  I give up, what more does he have to do to show the braves that he can hit atleast off the bench!?!?!?

Thanks for listening,

Talking Chop Barbaro Canizares anyone?

Hey, been reading the posts for a while just decided to post something.  So we have all seen our horrible hitting lately, save for chipper's triple and diaz's hr last night, so I have seen Barbaro alot since I live near where the Richmond Braves played.  So what I am saying is why not give him a look. I know he isnt exactly a young gun but who cares the man can hit.  Last year he hit .300 with 13 HRs, 67 RBIs, and only 67 SO in about 500 ABs.  This year he hasnt slowed down hitting .388 with 2 HRs in 50 ABs.  Try not to completely rag on me its just a thought.  By the way just would like to say I completely hate fair weatherd fans who are already posting that this season is done.

Thanks,

GOOOO BRAVES
