Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Jonny Flynn Coming Back to the Dome

Just caught this news from SUathletics:

Former Orange star Jonny Flynn, who led Syracuse’s 2008-09 squad to the NCAA Tournament’s "Sweet 16," is scheduled to return to the Carrier Dome for an NBA Preseason game between his Minnesota Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons. The two squads will meet on Friday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m.

"It’s always great to go back where you started," said Flynn. "Without Syracuse, there wouldn’t be a Jonny Flynn. It will be fun to play in the Dome again. I can’t wait!"

And if Minnesota does the right thing it could be the return of Wes Johnson to the Dome as well. Nice to get our minds off of conference realignment for a bit, although, it is Michigan and Minnesota....

Tickets for the event are scheduled to go on sale Tuesday, June 15th, at 10:00 a.m. (See the SUAthletics link for more purchasing details)

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Boeheim passes Calhoun

Not only did Syracuse bring the righteousness to that hive of villainy known as Georgetown tonight, but Jimmy B. made some history too...

It was the 819th career win for Orange coach Jim Boeheim, breaking a tie with UConn's Jim Calhoun for sixth in Division I. Boeheim also extended his Division I record for most 20-win seasons to 32 in his 34 years at his alma mater.

With any luck, Boeheim will end the season in 5th place on the all-time list passing Jim Phelan's mark of 830. For the record the Hoya Destroya has more wins than both Thompsons combined.

Also, it's 10:47... and Georgetown still sucks!
