What I am doing is ranking each player for the Dolphins on what they have accomplished this season. This is not based on thier potential or paycheck, just performance. So discuss and let me know what you think.

1) Ronnie Brown - The most important part of our team. Without Ronnie the Wildcat doesn't work.

2) Jake Long - The cornerstone of our offensive line for years to come. Great run blocker.

3) Justin Smiley - The best pulling guard in the league.

4) Vernon Carey - One of the best RT in the league. Just look at our run game.

5) Chad Henne - Franchise QB or not Henne is still vital to our success and his performance so far is fantastic.

6) Jason Ferguson - Without Fergy we don't stop the run. Period.

7) Ricky Williams - Probably the best #2 RB in the NFL.

8) Joey Porter - No pressure no INTS. He does need to step up this year though.

9) Jake Grove - Look at the difference from last year running up the middle. Grove is our man-beast.

10) Donald Thomas - A young guard with some great game already. Potential to be a great guard.

11) Channing Crowder - Can tackle like a machine. We all want to see the big play, but he does get the job done.

12) Will Allen - Has been picked on profusely, but still can lock down if the refs call the game fair.

13) Kendall Langford - A jewel in the 3rd round. Can stop the run and rush the passer. Amazing.

14) Lousaka Polite - A monster of a blocker and impossible to stop on anything less than 2yds.

15) Davone Bess - The best catching receiver we have is the man on 3rd down.

16) Anthony Fasano - Struggled early, but starting to pick up where he left off last year.

17) Sean Smith - Rookie corner, but already teams aren't throwing his way...Just wait till he has some experience.

18) Jason Taylor - Smart veteran with gas in the tank. Just needs to show up more often.

19) Cameron Wake - “NFL rookie” gets 3 sacks his first game and then gets benched? Could be force with more PT.

20) Randy Starks - Whether he or Merling starts these two RE are young and talented.

21) Phillip Merling - A gamer who disappears in practice, but comes alive in the game.

22) Greg Camarillo - Not quite back to form from last year, but still great at catching with his butt...

23) Ted Ginn - Awesome potential, but haven't seen much yet. Maybe some Henne is the right prescription.

24) Yeremiah Bell - Still hard hitting safety, but wondering if Gibril is not only hurting himself, but also YB.

25) Akin Ayodele - Good tackler, but needs to be upgraded by another play making ILB.

26) Vontae Davis - Over aggressive CB who should settle down soon and be a solid #2 or 3 CB.

27) Brian Hartline - Shows flashes, but needs to stay consistent. Drops passes too much.

28) Gibril Wilson - The lowest starter on this list. Not so impressive needs to learn to ball-hawk.

29) Patrick Cobbs - Lost for the year was a great #3 RB with ok returning skills.

30) Nate Jones - Our nickel doesn't make glaring mistakes, but he won't ever be more than a nickel.

31) Tony McDaniel - Doesn't seem to do much during games, but has some impressive measurables.

32) Joey Haynos - Needs to step up as our 2nd TE. Great height.

33) Tyrone Culver - Maybe our 2nd best safety overall.

34) Paul Soliai - Gets pressure, but does he give it all on every play is the question?

35) Lex Hilliard - Now our #3 RB and a special teams ace. That works for me.

36) Pat White - Gave me a heart attack Monday night, but didn't turn the ball over so its all good.

37) Shawn Murphey - Our best reserve lineman? We need to see more, but I like the idea.

38) Nate Garner - Can T or G gives us flexibility.

39) Reggie Torbor - Said to have improved this year, but I haven't been convinced.

40) Erik Walden - Great on special teams, but will he ever be a linebacker?

41) Andrew Gardner - Rookie who will probably take a few years, but can be a great backup tackle.

42) Jason Allen - First rounder who has never developed. Maybe his last year in Miami.

43) Lionel Dotson - Coaches love him, but he is never active?

44) Charlie Anderson - Losing reps to Wake, but thats understandable Wake is a beast. Oh yeah quit holding!

45) Quentin Moses - Without Roth, Moses is probably our 2nd best SOLB, but he was inactive last week.

46) John Nalbone - Not showing anything at all, but is a rookie so has time to develop.

47) Joe Berger - Parcells seems high on Berger, but I have my doubts. Not seeing any PT so don't know for sure.

48) Chris Clemons - I love this guy, but that is with training camp love, what can he do for real?

49) Patrick Turner - What happened to the Turner we had in training camp? Hasn't played a down yet.

50) Tyler Thigpen - Official clipboard holder for the clipboard holder. He will do in a pinch.

LeRoy Hill?

Does anyone else think we should make a play for Hill? The Seahawks pulled their franchise tag since they got Aaron Curry. Hill is only 26 and would be a great coverage type OLB since he has experience and will not be switching from DE. He will be a bit high $ wise and got busted for weed but what a playmaker. What are your guys thoughts? He could either play ROLB for Roth or ILB for Ayodele

I know Nicky and Gator have been doing draft profiles and what I was wondering is if one of you could do a head to head of Clint Stintim and Aaron Maybin. I see Maybin going before Stintim in a lot of mocks and was wondering why that is. If I'm noy mistaken Maybin is a one year starter an Stintim has three years. I assume because Maybin is smaller he will have better numbers at the combine but is Stintim the better performer? Are the numbers more important than stats. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

It is talking about who is most important to his playoff team and Rz's man CP10 is on top, could this be a sign of the fact that the FINS are going to the Bowl of Superness??? I must agree CP10 is more important to the Dolphins than anyone else to their team!!! Lets Go FINS beat them birds and show everyone we aren't just a lucky team with an easy schedule!

I just went over to Buffalo Rumblings and they had an article about shutting down Ginn. They were talking about needing to contain him because he will be the first thing we go for because of his performance last time we played them but then they went to far when they said, "Ginn needs a couple of teeth knocked out." Then, "Or, at the very least, to be slowed down." Wow what a bunch of jerks who just want one of our guys to be injured so they can save a crappy season. Here is the link go check it out.

I HATE absolutely HATE the fact that Cam is out for the rest of the season so don't get the idea that I don't care, but what if this is what will bring out a true #1 size and skills set receiver. Yes I am talking about the newest bandwagon, man crush Brandon London. He is 6-4 210. Would fate have it that because Cam went down we discover that we have no need for a receiver this year in the draft. How freakin awesome would that be if by the end of this year he was pulling down double teams and still racking up 100 yds a game? That might be stretching it a little bit, but one thing I don't like the idea of is putting Wilford in. He is a bum. He is ripping us off 6 million and frankly I don't care if he ever touches the field again except on special teams. So please please Sparano for all that is good put London and lets see what we have. So what if it takes 3 or 4 games or even until the beginning of next year. I don't want to hear about potential I want to see it on the field!!! So what do you think?

We just cut Nonkovic and added Erik Walden as a special teams wedge man and guess what he was drafted by dallas. He is a 6-2 DE/OLB and had 10 tackles in 9 games on special teams.

Hey guys I am an new member here at Carolina March and have been a die hard fan since I can remember. But I have never been to a game so I was wondering how much tickets would be to a home basketball game. If someone could let me know that would be awesome. They don't have to be fantastic seats just somewhere where I can see ok. Any info would be much appreciated.

All the talk of Roy Williams is getting kinda boring but there is one fact that no one has pointed out yet that might be in our favor for getting him. I am not saying that we definitely should, but I thought this view was kind of interesting. Looking at all the teams in the NFL there aren't many that would qualify as being candidates for this trade possibly driving down the cost required to have him. Lets take a look

Bears, Packers, Vikings are all out of the equation because they are all in the NFC North with Detriot so I don't see that happening.

Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Panthers, Saints, Texans, Colts, Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Bills, Patriots, Jets, Cardinals, Broncos, Chargers all have #1 wide outs and don't need another one.

49ers no way he goes back to Martz.

Cheifs, Rams, Falcons, Seahawks, Raiders have to many other needs to spend any picks on a wide out.

Titans are absoultely against getting wide receivers.

Ravens and Jaguars are iffy because I think that they will pass on such a price tag.

Eagles look good with Desean Jackson.

So that leaves us and the Buccaneers not saying any of this is definite but with only two teams interested it could drop the asking price drastically.

Just talking out of my head because I am bored but I thought this might make it more reasonable to look at this move. Let me know what you guys think.

I was taking a look at the patriots blog to see what they were saying after last weeks embarassing loss and I came across this post that was put up before the game. I was shocked at how conceited they were here is what they said...

"Division games have different dynamics than others. Having to play each other twice a year they get to know each other pretty well. The teams often sign free agents and draft players that will help them to beat the teams in thier division, which is the road to the playoffs. I think if the Pats are going to be upset (not talking about elite teams) in a game this year, it will most likely be a divisional opponent. However......., I actually feel feel bad for Miami this week, the advantage of talent, motivation, structure, and coaching that the Pats enjoy over the Phins is like the lions had over the Christians in the Roman arena."

Then someone else said...

"The Bills might be a challenge, definitely, and you can’t completely rule out the motivating factor of the humiliated Jets (who were supposed to be exacting revenge on the Pats in week 2.) I’m not even going to try to justify Miami stealing a win against us this season, ’cause so many other things would have to go horribly wrong for that to happen."

Oh that makes me angry how conceited they are. Well not to bust anyone's bubble but they had a many other things go horribly wrong and I feel sorry for their lack of talent and poor coaching that has to cheat to win. And I definitely didn't see any motivation on Moss' part or anyone else on the team. Sorry I just had to vent cuz that made me angry.
