I have been a Dolphin fan since 1970. Always supporting my team win or lose.
I just love them. We have had some great seasons and some very poor ones.
I have seen some great players and coaches come and go. Nothing will ever
top that magical season of the '72 team. I was there and will never forget it.
I look forward to one day seeing this team return to those glory days that was that perfect season.

"The last time manning was out was when Zach Thomas hammered him into neva neva land !!!!!! That was in 2001, backup Mark Rypien fumbled. The Dolphins recovered, then drove 59 yards for the winning score. Manning returned on the next series with a bloody mouth. He was later diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his jaw....."
At the Helm....
I was thinking about this the other day.....
You know, watching games over all these years I have seen many, many things. But one thing I have noticed over the years is how many times that QB's get taken out of the game (sometimes on a strecher), especially in very important games by a blitzing linebacker or corner or whatever. This happens many times in this league, and the worst shots are the one's that the QB never see's coming. I know that most good QB's have that fifth sense that they usually know when someone on defense is closing on them with plans to end their career or playing time in the game....
What I'm getting at is, what a luxury it is to finally have a worthy and confident backup QB on this team. I know we have had some real dud's in the past like the Cleo "Medowlark" Lemon's, the Ray "Puke's" Lucas'. to mention a few.... and well,.... isn't it nice to have a very confident Chad Henne waiting in the wings who is very much capable of stepping in and not missing a beat in an important game.
I think that sometimes we take for granted how lucky we are to have such a great backup just in case CP10 gets blindsided. I personally never was a huge Henne fan, but I have to say that he has thoroughly impressed me since joining this team. I feel that given the opportunity will really prove his worth as a Dolphin.
....Thoughts?
On any given Sunday.........
Okay, So I've picked all the navel oranges off of the tree outside, the grill is sparkly clean and ready, I've cleaned the house like four times ( And I don't even like housework ), I've got the cold beer in the cooler, my wife thinks I'm losing it, my daughter thinks I'm losing it, our three dogs are looking at me like WTF is up dude......
Basically a nervous wreck over the game I've needed to see for years. This team has single handedly made me glad that I toughed it out through all those difficult seasons especially last year. This team now has made it all worth while. They have heart, They have soul, they have toughness, They have the mentality, They have all of those things that make you proud to be a fan.....
Now lets woop some new england chowda ASS !
God I love this team !!!! GO MIAMI DOLPHINS !!!!!!!!!!
Get Deangelo Hall !!!!! NOW !!!!!
Is there any way the Phins can afford to get this guy? I have no idea, but I do know that our corners are not the best out there and obviously this guy is one of the premier corners in the league....... Here is the press release: "Angered by the Oakland Raiders' 2-6 start, team owner Al Davis asked his front office staff to explore the possibility of releasing several players, including cornerback DeAngelo Hall, according to multiple sources. Hall The Raiders are expected to release Hall on Wednesday, sources told ESPN's Michael Smith." I doubt that we could afford him but I'm not sure where our cap is... One last thought. How come teams like Dallas can afford to get 3 or 4 big names and still stay under the cap??? I say we get him.... Any thoughts or comments??
One win could change everything…
So now we join 9 other NFL teams that are 0 and 2. There is much football yet to see this season. I am still excited about these boys making the step to being men. I remember watching last season thinking that it can’t get any worse, little did I know, it still can.
The one thing I didn’t count on was how poorly coached this team is. I don’t blame Sparano specifically, but I think it is the whole staff. With that being said the whole team has room for improvement albeit Coaches, Players, Play calling, Execution, Use of timeouts. I do think it will get better in time, but I think the fans, myself included, are ready for the losing to stop now. If we win 5 games for the season I would be extremely happy ( especially if one of those 5 is the jets). So sit back, grab a cold one and try not to expect much of anything, then slowly and painfully one day my friends victory will be ours. If we can just win one game it could change everything for the better.
New to the site....
I just wanted to thank all of those that have had a hand in orginizing this site. It is truly one of the best out there. Hat's off to all of you that have made it possible. I have been thinking about becoming a member for a long time and just never taken the time to fill out the necessary forms. That doesn't mean I haven't been reading the forum for a very long time. Also thanks to Matty and others that have posted all of those awsome video's on the weekends, it is one of the highlights of my week when I sign on and watch some of the best players to ever put on a Dolphin uniform. Again thanks to all that contribute to this site. It is the best !
Go Dolphins !!!
