My two cents
To those fans who boo Henne and chant We Want Orton
To all you fans that boo Henne and chant We Want Orton at the training camp facilities, go head off to the Jets, Bills or Patriots practices. Miami doesn't need your asses to support us, I am sure the Jets and Patriots would love your support. We as fans have to support what Miami decides to do with the quarterback situation. Sparano and Ireland have their jobs on the line and if they were desperate, they would have made the move for Kyle Orton in a heartbeat. Obviously, they see something out of Henne that we don't and are going foward with him. As a fan, do I want Orton? Sure, why not. I won't sit there and go to the training camps booing my favorite team. My job is to sit and cheer for the Dolphins and support their moves and hope for good results. Also, after hearing the audio of Henne's comments toward the fans booing him, I love how he is just getting more fired up by this to do better and be a better quarterback. I really hope he uses this as motivation as he stated. We as fans have to got to forget about last season's miseries and look foward to this season. Thank You and Go Dolphins!!

Miami must shift the focus to offense
Defense is set, offense ain't.
5 reasons why Miami should resign Ronnie Brown
YES, YES, I know that the NFL must come to an agreement for anything to happen.

Look at what Browns fans said about Brian Daboll
Now of course I am not gonna look at Daboll how Browns fans do, but I think he will do good in Miami (FINGERS CROSSED). I told myself, you know what why not ask Browns fans about this guy. They know him more than dolphins fans do and let's see the good and the bad about him. So a month ago, I joined the Browns blog and asked them about Brian Daboll. Here is what they said:
http://www.dawgsbynature.com/2011/1/18/1942742/dolphins-fan-here
Listen to this quote my friend said about the Wings.
My friend, who is an avalanche fan, has alot of respect for the red wings. But there is one quote he says about Todd Bertuzzi. When i asked him, do you think the red wings will win the cup this year? Before getting to his answer, he is an absolute hockey freak. He knows every single stat for avalanche player and has alot of knowledge from the past and present. He said that he doesn't think the wings will win the cup nor any team from the westerm conference. He said that this is because every single playoff series in the west will go at least 6 games. Even the 1 seed vs. 8 seed and then the semifinals and conference finals will go 7 games. By the time its Stanley Cup time, the team that came out of the west is gonna be dead tired. This Western Conference is amazingly tough. When saying who will win the western conference finals, you can't simply pick wings, canucks, sharks. Other teams are good enough to be there as well in western conference compared to the eastern.
Oh and one more thing why my friend said wings wont win cup is simply this:
"God will never give Todd Bertuzzi a Cup. That **** shouldn't be playing hockey and he deserves no Cup."
Can the Pistons fire Kuester already?
I am sick and tired of this guy. I hate how he treats our players and his coaching stinks. I thought this year the Pistons would be some sleeper team and probably make a run towards a playoff spot but it is the just same old pistons from last year. When this whole skipping shootaround thing or player protest as some call it came about, I was happy. I took this as a message to the Dumars and the rest of the organization that Kuester is no good. Now tell me, would any coach consider benching a valuable veteran in Richard Hamilton for 30 some games with no playing time whatsoever? Yeah Rip is playing now, but do you seriously think him and Kuester are like boys now? Rip is struggling right now thanks to his no playing time. Now, Tracy McGrady should not be benched. It doesn't matter if he was a part of the player protest thing. Look at Rip, he was a part of it and is playing. I do not get why Tmac isn't playing. Simply put, fire Kuester!! We as Pistons are tired of him and his actions toward the players. I am been a Pistons fan for a very long time, and not once have I been pissed off over a coach.
What do you guys think about Kuester??
What I feel Miami should do
QB Situation:
I really don't know what to expect of Henne but everything is going its the coaches faults for Henne's year. In 09, Henne played under Sparano, Henning, and QB coach David Lee. Does one year seriously make a difference? Now, I have some confidence in Henne since he is acting like a leader, he wants to improve, and he wants competition. Thats what I like about the guy. First, I think Miami should find a way to draft Ponder in the draft. I am not totally sold on Newton. I watched the Combine and Newton had more downs than ups. On the other hand, Ponder had more ups than downs than any QB in the combine. Then, I believe Miami should let Thigpen compete for the starting job. As far I am concerned, he knew how to use Brandon Marshall more than Henne did. He had Marshall's quotes in his head "we live or die from the deep ball." Also, alot of people claim he sucked in the Chicago game. Honestly, I couldn't judge him with the handcuffed Jake Long, an inexperienced Incognito at Center, and a bunch of other banged up guys including Vernon Carey. At the end, I think Henne will start the 2011 season, (IF THERE IS ONE)
RB Situation:
Miami better resign Ronnie Brown and let Ricky go. CJ wouldn't run good on this run blocking of ours. He probably would have got 1000 yards or a little more like 1050 but too him thats bad. Ronnie Brown is a career 4.5 YPC guy. I say give him 1-2 year contract. He has power, isn't scared to run at anyone, and with good run blocking he will find the end zone. Now, I am not totally sold on Ingram also. I mean yeah Ingram is good but I feel RB can be addressed in then third round. A guy like Jordan Todman or Ryan Williams will be available.
WR Situation:
Not gonna talk about them alot. I mean Marshall and Bess. Enough said along with Hartline. But, just one thing lacks and we all know that it is speed. That will be addressed in the draft and hopefully Niles Paul comes along to South Beach.
TE Situation:
Anthony Fasano is a good TE but doesn't have a guy to accompany him. Remember 08, with David Martin and Fasano, that was a good group of TE's. Two guys that can stretch the field. Miami made a mistake in passing up on Shockey. The TE stock in the draft is good, but not as good as last year's or the year before. Yeah Shockey had career lows last year, but he is still is a threat when on the field to many teams. Luke Stocker or another good TE hopefully falls to us in the later rounds.
Offensive Line:
Great move in resigning Incognito and hopefully he goes to Center. That leaves the LG spot open. Now with the first round pick, I say Miami drafts Gabe Carimi and possible makes a run at Robert Gallery. Run blocking is the key here and Miami needs to take a deep look at the guys they draft. SInce I am a Michigan fan and saw their game against Wisconsin, Wisconsin had about 269 yards rushing in the game last year. Each time they showed a replay of a run, they point out the key block and it was almost always Gabe Carimi.
Defense:
I love this defense. Who doesn't? I am extremely happy that there are little holes on the defense. Speaking of the little holes, I look at the SS position. I believe Clemons isn't the answer. He drops picks(think TO touchdown in Cincy), misses tackles and gets beat deep. I think Reshad Jones is better. I want Miami in the later rounds to get a Rahim Moore from UCLA or Ahmad Black(Florida) in the 5th round during the draft. Also, I felt Miami shouldve taken a risk in Bob Sanders. Yeah he has injuries, but he passed physicals with teams and will come cheap. We couldve got him for a year and have Jones develop one more year. Then, get Crowder outta here. He is good run stopping force but thats about it. He is always injured, doesnt back up his talk. Trade him for a pick or simply release him. They try to fill the spot with a guy from the free agent class. We have great CB's but why not take a shot in trying to acquire Asomugha. Imagine having him, VD21, Smith, Will Allen, and Benny Sapp. That would be awesome depth and make this defense top 3. Ross is willing to spend money and he has enough to get him.
To sum it up, I think Miami trades the 15th pick for like the 28th pick and a mid-second rounder. With the 28th pick, they select Carimi and I am hoping Ponder falls to the second round. Our biggest need is in the interior line, not RB or QB. The RB and QB is a need in the draft but they could be answered in the second and third round. Simply, I want to see how Henne plays under Dabolls "friendly QB" offense. Oh and I am letting out every wish for an NFL season next year. Come on NFL and NFLPA agree already.
I guess we can forget about Atogwe
http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/26249/dolphins-not-into-o-j-atogwe-but-bills-are
Miami should take a look at him. Clemons is not the answer
My Offseason Prediction
I believe the Dolphins will do the following or hope they will do the following:
1. Miami lets Ricky go and resigns Ronnie Brown to a 1 or max 2 year deal.
2. They sign DeAngelo Williams to accompany Brown
3. Logan Mankins stated he doesn't think NE is gonna go after him, so I expect Miami to sign him. Even If NE goes after him, Miami must get him. He is the number 1 guy to get in my opinion. Imagine having Mankins and Long on one line.
4. Channing Crowder gets traded for a draft pick or released. I am tired of this guy; talks the talk, but can't walk the walk.
5. Chad Greenway signs with Miami. That would be a nice pickup!!
6. Kyle Orton signs with Miami as well
7. Jacoby Jones signs with Miami.
8. Miami goes into the bidding for Darren Sproles and wins. Guy would make a good special teams returner.
9. Miami resigns Paul Soliai and Tony McDaniel, Wake receives extension
10. with pick 15, miami takes c maurkice paukneys brother, in the later rounds they draft RB Daniel Thomas, Colin kaepernick
11. CB Chris Houston signs with Dolphins to add depth in CB spot.
Like Ross said, he is willing to spend lots of money to make this team better. So, this what I think or wish will happen. I am not expecting Miami to do all these moves, but I expect some of the following
GO DOLPHINS!!
I would like to thank Dan Henning for a couple of things
During Dan Henning's tenure in Miami, he had alot of criticism, which was well deserved, and a few good things. Those few good things are the things I want to thank him for. The few good things are:
1. Implementing the Wildcat to his offensive scheme in 2008. The Wildcat took us to the playoffs, where hardly any teams, except Baltimore, at that time could stop it.
2. Going 4-2 against the New York Jets, by far his best accomplishment since I think beating NYJ is like the best thing to happen, 4-2 against Buffalo(who doesn't have that record against them now-a-days), and 2-4 against NE(bad thing, but good for actually beating them)
3. For finally leaving the Miami Dolphins this year. We are done with conservativeness and we need to start from scratch. 68 year old guy won't do the job.
I could thank him for making our offense successful in 08, but give more credit to Sparano. #3 on the list of the few good things was by far the best thing I thank him for.
Hoping for a good offseason, and GO DOLPHINS!!!
Dolphins fan here!!
Hey Browns fans, as you guys know, Brian Daboll is now the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins. As a phins fan, this Dolphins team desperately needs a big spark on offense and it must come from the offensive coordinator, which was Dan Henning but he stinked, and QB Chad Henne, who also isnt that good especially that game against the Browns. I heard that Daboll is good in developing QB's which I am hoping he does to Henne. Now Browns fans, can you tell me the good and bad about Mr. Daboll?
Thank You
Brian Daboll???
I don't know if this is a good hiring but face the facts. Over the past 2 seasons, he has netted 10 wins in all for the browns and his offensive scheme ranked 31st(Lower than Miami) this year. But, his offensive scheme did beat the patriots, it almost beat the jets, it lost to the bills, and of course beat us. I would have liked John Garrett to come to Miami, but whatever the FO saw out of Daboll, I hope it is good. What do you guys think of the hiring?
Miami will make a huge mistake if they let Ronnie Brown go
Ronnie Brown has been my favorite Dolphin player ever since he was drafted. I would really love to see Miami keep him for another year or two. First off, Brown is committed a Dolphin. He loves this team, his teammates, and is willing to take less money in order to stay a Dolphin. From what I have read, Brown is not expected to be back with Phins next year. You can say that age is getting the best of him, or that he is not what he used to be, or he is injury prone but he is still is something. Miami should draft a future RB in this draft, but keeping Brown would do us good. Look at CJ Spiller, he was put into the starting RB mix right away but never lived up to expectations this year. That is because there was no veteran presence. With Brown, he is a veteran and will help whichever RB comes to Miami. Miami simply can't let Brown go because of what he did this year. Look at the year before, 700 yards in 9 games before injury. I believe he still has that in him and if our run blocking can improve next year, he will excel. Can you blame Ronnie Brown for running the ball when there are 6 guys waiting for him before the line of scrimmage? Can you blame Ronnie Brown for Henning's predictable playbook? It was like every team knew when Miami will pass and run the ball. With Ricky most likely gone, why rely on Sheets and Hilliard? What have they proved? If Miami thinks that both sheets and Hilliard can do better than Brown, why didn't they try them out this year? Even if Sheets didn't get injured, I don't think Miami would have played him anyway except on special teams. Wherever Brown goes, I will support him. I hope it isn't New England. Nowadays, whenvever Miami let's a good guy walk, they go to AFC East rival.(Wes Welker(even though traded), Jason Taylor). With that said, Logan Mankins is a must look to get at free agency this year. I saw highlights of this guy and when you say that someone is a stud in run-blocking, that is Logan Mankins. He will improve our run blocking and if Brown is back, he will excel. I hope he is back!!
O BTW, i draft Brown in fantasy every year :)
GO DOLPHINS!!
This offseason has started off a mess
From Jim Harbaugh, to Jon Gruden, to Bill Cowher, while Sparano is still coach is not a good thing to start off. I don't mind having Sparano back, but I highly doubt that the relationship with Sparano and Ireland as well as Dolphins owner Steve Ross will not be the same. Then you have Dolphins Brandon Marshall, Ricky Williams, and former Dolphin Jason Taylor speak about the Miami Dolphins coaching. Now from all those talking, only Brandon Marshall should be the one talking. Ricky Williams is old and he can leave Miami. As much as I like Jason Taylor, he should just go and mind his own business and focus on his beloved Jets. That was last year JT was talking about, we are talking about this year. Then next Henning steps down, which is so far the best thing that has happened this offseason. In my opinion, Ross should have just fired Sparano. He should not have searched for a coach for a good long week, which looked like it lasted a month, and kept Sparano waiting. Ross should have said simply this, we have fired Sparano or we have decided to retain Sparano. That should have happened a couple days after the spanking by the Pats. I really wanted Jim Harbaugh. If he was coach, my faith in Chad Henne would have took a rise since this guy is a genius in developing QB's. Now, with Sparano back, we can go back to the discussion board and think about the long term future QB. Although if we got Harbaugh, we would have brought another QB to compete with Henne but would have felt more comfortable with Henne under Harbaugh. Henne won't develop to where we want him to develop and with QB coach David Lee in town, it won't happen. Lee needs a minimum of 10 years to develop a QB. He should be the guy next on Ross' list to fire.
Now, honestly, with how things are turning out so far in the offseason, I do not know what to expect and I hope it goes good. Ross has the money and hope he spends with good use.
GO DOLPHINS!!
Phinsider people: Please read this
Now, I am a Michigan fan. Now, when I heard the Rich Rodriguez firing today, I was not happy at all. Jim Harbaugh is not taking the Michigan job, and Michigan shouldve sticked with Rich Rod for another year.
Now here is what I do not want to see.
Just in case someone is thinking on posting Rich Rodrigues for offensive coordinator in Miami, it will never happen and if it does, it will be a huge mistake. After watching Michigan play under Rich Rod for three years, the spread offense he brought with him worked somewhat. This spread offense only works for teams with running QB's. Miami doesn't have a running QB, and the spread won't work for this offense.
I am saving whoever is thinking on posting Rich Rod for offensive coordinator at least 200 words of typing. None of us will buy into the Rich Rod for offensive coordinator. Nor will I as a Michigan fan.
It was about time Marshall spoke
Honestly, as this whole season progressed, I was just waiting for one thing: Brandon Marshall to finally talk and express his frustration. Now, do I think this is a bad thing? HELL NO!!! I feel that is a sign for the Miami FO to realize that when you have a guy like Marshall, you use him in a manner other teams use their top receivers like for example, the bad teams, Lions(Calvin Johnson), Cardinals (Fitzgerald). Now the good teams Falcons (Roddy White), Eagles (Jackson), Packers (Jennings). Those teams I mentioned use their receivers in a way they TRUST them. When Marshall referred to how Cutler was his guy since he had the trust to throw him the ball, that should be really looked at from Miami P.O.V. The only time I saw Miami use Marshall's size and ability to make plays for the football was in the Week 3 loss against the Jets.
Now, when I saw Marshall simply keep on avoiding Henne on the benches against the Pats, it was something that I was never surprised at all. Then Marshall hugs Thigpen after the TD drive in front of Henne is another thing I wasn't surprised also.
Honestly, this Henne-Marshall thing won't work out in my opinion. Henne has more downs than ups when throwing the deep ball to Marshall. That is simply because of his underthrows, overthrows, or ball thrown out of bounds. Marshall said he thought him and Henne would make a big combo for the team, even better than him and Cutler but obviously it has not. When Thigpen was in on Sunday, I saw him target Marshall everywhere. That's what you call a QB having trust. Like Marshall said, you live and die by the outcome. That is exactly what Thigpen did.
I am tired of Henne. Whether the playcalling or whatever, he simply won't make Marshall the superstar he really is. Even though Marshall got 1000 yards while Henne was under center, I just can't see them coexisting anymore. Like all of us know, it's time for a change at QB, and if Ryan Mallett falls to 15, take him otherwise grab a veteran presence in Kyle Orton or Carson Palmer, if he gets released.
To put this in conclusion, Marshall's frustration actually made me feel good. When he first came to Miami, I was little bit nervous on whether he would have breakdown in Miami like in Denver. But, now it is a good thing. He wants the coaching staff to have trust in him, and whoever comes in at offensive coordinator must do that. If Sparano stays coaching or whoever comes in to replace him, they should look at the frustration of Marshall as something to keep track of. This team has the talent to be a great team, but when the players don't have the trust in their teammates and coaches, then something needs to be done immediately. Ross I am looking at you. You are responsible on removing this mess, and I like I said from other posts I have done, you either keep Sparano and Ireland or you get rid of both. Removing only one will not do the job.
Hope this offseason goes well and GO DOLPHINS!!
Some questions/comments I would tell some current Dolphins players and coaches
Chad Henne- You have been a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins for 3 years. What the HELL have you learned? I can answer that; NOTHING WHATSOEVER!!
Ronnie Brown- Honestly, I would love to have you back next year. What happened to you this year? That one 1000 yard season, will that be your only one?
Ricky Williams- Fumbling used to be something that wasn't common to you. Now, its a problem. So, when are you going to retire?
Brandon Marshall- You are one hell of a receiver, when used. I was amazingly glad you finally spoke about your relationship with Chad Henne and that you didn't BS on it. That's what I like about you. Sooner or later, Miami will realize what kind of receiver you really are.1000 receiving yards without a true QB is impressive. My question to you is Who SHOULD be the Miami Dolphins starting QB?
Jake Long- So, have the elite pass rushers in the game realized that you are no joke and no sack or getting to the QB is ever guaranteed?
Tyler Thigpen- Only if Miami used your running and passing ability some more. Hope your back next year!
Vontae Davis- Soon, you will be the next Darrelle Revis. You are one of the bright spots on this defense. You are going into the talk of being the best young corner in the league. A year or two from now, you will be the best corner.
Sean Smith- Honestly, I hated the fact that early in the season, Miami started Jason Allen over you. Then, Miami found out they did something wrong by doing that. You and Vontae are a great tandem in this league. Great job this year!
Karlos Dansby- Only 4 words can describe you. PICKUP OF THE YEAR!!
Cameron Wake- 14 sacks is amazing and being in the conversation for the All-Pro team as well as Defensive Player of the Year is an amazing achievement. When Miami gets another good pass rusher, you being double-teamed and triple-teamed will go away, and you can break your 14 sack total.
Paul Soliai and Tony McDaniel- Reason why we are ranked 6th against the run is simply because of you two. The big bucks are coming your ways.
Coaches
Mike Nolan- Honestly, I hope you stay in Miami and that you don't leave Miami for another team. Head Coach of Miami for you should be discussed as a possibility. You made this defense from average to great.
Dan Henning- Are your bags packed already? Hopefully, a high school football team asks about you?
QB Coach David Lee- How long do you need to develop a quarterback? You take too long
Tony Sparano- I wouldn't mind having you back, but it looks like your not coming back depending on what Parcells tells Ross. If Cowher wants to come to Miami, then adios amigo!! So, are you packing your bags?
I'm done for now, this season was a complete mess. 1-7 at home is pure disgusting. I hope the offseason goes well.
GO DOLPHINS!!
Rookie Autograph of Chad Henne
So, today I buy a random pack of 2008 SP Authentic football cards, that come with 5 cards in each pack. They say look for rookie autographs and it is in one pack only. The shelve that had the packs had alot, i mean alot of packs not a little making the chances of getting a rookie autograph a longshot. So, when I open my pack, I get these cards. I get Greg Jennings, DeAngelo Williams, Nate Clements, Mike Jenkins, and last but not least, a CHAD HENNE ROOKIE AUTOGRAPH!!! He might have had a crap year, and it still pisses me off, but it's all good. The fact that I have an autograph of a Dolphin player on a football card makes me happy. It's not fake, the back of the card says Congratulations you have received a rookie autograph of Miami Dolphins Quarterback Chad Henne.
Well anyways,
GO DOLPHINS!!

What was your first ever phinsider post about?
I joined SBNATION like a couple months before this season started, however I always went on the Phinsider to check fan posts as well as posts by Matty on the offseason, moves, and the season itself. But I joined for one reason and for good cause. I was always looking at fan posts as well as the comments and I would sometimes see Jets fans comment like Phins suck, division belongs to Jets and it pissed me off. So, my first ever post was not on phinsider. It was on Gang Green Nation(Jets Blog). My story headline was Breaking News. I said that the breaking news is that Miami is winning division in 2010. Then I wrote that I am sick and tired of watching Jets people comment on fan posts in phinsider saying that we suck. Then the came the words that I would love to tell the Jets in first person. I wrote never will you(Jets) win the division with a quarterback whose ratio of TD and INT is like 1 Td and 5 int's a game. I would take a Chad henne with a 1 td 1 int. I also wroInte I rather take an accurate passer like Henne who went 20/26 for 288 yards with 2 td's against you (expletive) Jets rather than a terrible Sanchez who goes 10/37 for 100 yards and 4 picks. Then I wrote Bubble Belly Rex Ryan flicked off Phins fans cuz he knew that Miami has the division won with acquisition of Marshall. Finally, I finished it off by saying: O yea, speaking of your *best* cornerback in the NFL, how does he get burned by a draft bust in Ted Ginn who he let crap on Revis Island for a 53 yard touchdown? I said alot more with good feeling and then realized the next day, I got warned lol. BTW the comments on that post were ugly before it got deleted lol.
However, my first post on this blog talked about the Positives and negatives of the Sunday Night game between the Jets and Dolphins this year. So, what was yours?

My final input on Chad Henne and the Dolphins
Before I start this off, whether Miami wins 47-0 next week means nothing on my thoughts.
After watching him play this whole season, I have come to the conclusion like most of us that Henne is nothing more than a decent backup quarterback. Watching him play at Michigan and then get drafted to Miami made me feel good that Henne brings something to the table and can be a good quarterback to the NFL. But, what the hell happened to him this season? I thought that with Marshall, Henne can become a top 15 quarterback in the league and lead Miami somewhere. He led long drives, as well as game-tying and game-winning drives. But, this year, he has had none of that. His accuracy shot and led Miami to being average at best. Now, its time to bring in a new QB, and I do not want one from the draft. There are good QB's out in free agency or even some up for trades. QB's in the draft now-a-days are only good if they get drafted in the top ten or 15. I am tired of Miami drafting quarterbacks in the second or third round. They have no potential. Henne had potential as third round pick but he epically failed. Henne has had enough starts to prove himself. Played in 15 games, started 14 of them this year and played in 14 games last year, started 13 of them the year before and has shown nothing more than average at best. It's time to move on from him. My faith in him on a scale of 10 is 1.5. This is coming from a Michigan fan.
Miami Dolphins and the FO
This team started off strong going 2-0 on the road and then losing a great game at home against the Jets. After that, they have been alternating wins and losses. However, going 7-1 or 6-2 on the road is very impressive but 1-7 at home is pure disgusting. I have to say the only thing I am happy about this team is that we have a young defense that plays great and gives us a chance to win and that we have good young receiving core. Bess has turned out to be one of the best slot receivers in the NFL. Marshall can still get 1000 yards receiving with 80 or something yards next week with missing 2 games this season and Hartline has been great this year. Now, its time for a change at quarterback and some coaches. Jeff Ireland, Tony Sparano, Dan Henning, and the other coaches except for Mike Nolan and the other defensive coaches need to pack their bags. We as fans have seen enough of them. Sparano excelled in 2008 as well as Henning because they had CP10 as QB. Their system does not fit Henne nor will it fit any QB that is willing to come to Miami. Whatever Stephen Ross does I support but Henning better not be back next year. If he wants to get rid of Ireland, he might as well get rid of Sparano. You either keep both or get rid of both in my opinion. After watching this season, Miami needs a future RB(Mark Ingram), a future QB(Kevin Kolb) and a speed receiver(Jacoby Jones or someone in the draft) as well as some upgrades at the O-line(Logan Mankins).
Next week, I really want to see Miami give Thigpen another shot. We, as fans, have seen enough of Henne. Thigpen played against Chicago with a banged up offensive line and the people playing the O-line that game either played that position once or twice in their careers or never at all. Is it Thigpen's fault? I say let him play like 2 and a half quarters or all of the first or second half. Let's see what he brings to the table. All the fans say that Thigpen sucked in the Chicago game but I couldn't come to a conclusion. Henne has proved himself, now let's see what Thigpen proves.

I hope the Miami Dolphins learned something from this game
I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that the game is over when the clock reaches :00 at the end of the fourth quarter. I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that Dan Henning needs to go NOW. I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that a 10 point lead with 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter is nothing to feel comfortable about. I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that Chad Henne is not the future starting quarterback. I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that there are fans are sick and tired of watching them lose at home and not making the playoffs in 8 of the past 9 years.I hope the Miami Dolphins learned that being conservative with a 10 point lead does nothing.
Now to Chad Henne.
I hope Chad Henne learned that his job is in SERIOUS jeopardy. I hope Chad Henne learned that the Miami FO acquired Brandon Marshall for a damn reason, which is to throw him the ball even if he is double covered. I hope Chad Henne learned that this is no college football no more where a 10 point lead in 5 minutes is game over. I hope Chad Henne learned that when u have a potential game-winning and game-tying drive, you do not go underneath almost half of the time. I hope Chad Henne learned that the Phins fans are getting sick and tired of his stupid interceptions.
I could say more but limited it to this.
I said this before, the reason why we have won 7 games is because of the DEFENSE. The reason why we have lost 8 games is because of the OFFENSE. The defense today played well enough to win. The run defense was great, the pass defense was OK but made plays to stall drive for the lions.
The worst part of this damn loss is I live in Michigan and out of all my relatives, I am the only Dolphin fan and the rest are Lions fans. I wonder what kind of smack talk they are going to give me. Thanks alot Chad Henne, and Dan Henning. I am tired of this crap, man just like all of us are.
My wishlist for the upcoming offseason
To begin this list, I first want the Dolphins to win the final 2 games of the season, I hate losing and even if we lose the next 2 games on purpose, we would get a better draft pick but I don't care. If we were at 17 now and losing the next 2 games puts us as 10 means nothing. There is nothing bad with a 17 rather than a 10. A win is the best thing. Now here's what I wish to see happen this offseason:
Coaching Staff
1. Get rid of Mr. Conservative and bring In Gary Kubiak. I am assuming that he won't be coaching Texans next year but I think he would fit well in Miami. Assuming Kubiak stays, I say we try to interview Tennessee's OC Hiemerdinger or someone capable of making this offense successful.
2. I am very sure that Mike Nolan will be offered a head coaching job somewhere whether it be in Cleveland, Carolina, or whoever, Miami FO must do whatever it takes in order to keep him. He is the main reason why we sit at 7-7, no worse.
3. I really don't like Jeff Ireland. I say we get rid of him and get a replacement.
4. Now as for a coaching change, if Bill Cowher says that Miami is the only place I wanna go, I say we get him. If he has 4 to 5 other teams on his list, forget him. If Sparano is fired so that we could get Cowher and he rejects and goes to Houston, then we kicked our own asses. I like Sparano, but Cowher would be perfect. For Miami's head coach next year, I wanna see Cowher or Sparano, noone else.
5. I say we keep our special teams coach. After Miami got rid of the old special teams coach after the game against NE, it has improved under our new one. Our Qb coach needs to go.
Quarterbacks
1. I say we have to have an open competition. Have Chad Henne compete with someone. Now one name I sure would like to see Henne compete against is Kevin Kolb. Miami should find a way to get Kevin Kolb because he has alot of good things in him. Whoever competes better, gets the starting nod. However, as a Michigan football fan, I have faith in Chad Henne unlike some people here. Although I have to say Henne has not impressed me this year as well as most of us. Now this might be to the all the pressure he's under or maybe the oldest OC in the busines, whatever it is I say we keep him starting next year unless Kevin Kolb beats him(If we get him).
2. Keep Tyler Thigpen for insurance at the position. I didn't see nothing that suggested to me that he sucks when he played against Chicago. I was quite surprised when I saw all the Phins fan quit bashing on Henne and bash on Thigpen himself. Now let's face it, was it his fault that the O-line was banged up and that people playing the O-Line had to be put in different positions that they never played before because of the injuries? Let's face it he was constantly under pressure and lucky enough he is a QB that can run. He got sacked 6 times, and I bet u if it were a Henne or CP10, they wouldve been sacked 12 times. Also, the game Thigpen played was the like the first full game he played ever since he was in KC. He only played a quarter in Pitt game in 09, and a quarter in the Titans game this year.
Running Backs
1. Resign Ronnie Brown to like a 2 year deal. I love Ronnie Brown, but what can you do when there is no running holes to go through? That's what Ronnie Brown has been through this year. He is a power back and breaks alot of tackles which is why I say bring him back.
2. I hope Ricky Williams retires. If he doesn't, it brings Miami to an interesting dilemma. No matter what I say we let Ricky go, he is old and is not what he used to be. Although I still like him :)
Either way, a RB will be drafted no question.
Wide Receivers
I love our receiving corps. We have Marshall who is a threat when given the ball anywhere in the field. We have Davone Bess who has come out to be one of the NFL's best slot receivers. We also have Brian Hartline who is a threat in the middle of the field. All have great hands and strength to get away from tackles. But, there is one thing that lacks in this receiving corp. That is SPEED. To address that, I say we go and sign WR Jacoby Jones. He has great hands and of course, awesome speed. He is a threat at WR and also on special teams returning punts. Nolan Carroll is our guy for kickoff and Jones will be our man at punts. Also, this would leave Miami loaded at WR so we could trade a Hartline somewhere since he would be have good trade value.
Tight End
Out of all the wishlists I have read, each one said to have Miami go and sign pass catching TE Owen Daniels. Now I won't mind if Miami gets him but there is a reason why Miami signed Anthony Fasano to a 2 year extension. Enough Said!
Offensive Line
We have a pretty solid offensive line that gives Henne time to throw the ball. But they lack alot in run blocking. First off, when Nate Garner comes back from injury next year, Miami should put him at C over Joe Berger. Next, Richie Incognito has been a monster this year. We should resign him. Next we should sign Logan Mankings. I say that he is our top free agent priority and he is a must sign.
Defense
I love this defense. Our corners have been great and all our d-line is monsterous. Only thing I want to see is Miami resigning both Tony McDaniel and Paul Soliai. They are the reason why Miami has a good rush defense. Finally, get rid of Benny Sapp. I see nothing from him and would rather have Jason Allen than him. Release Sapp and grab a cheap, decent CB to go with Vontae Davis and Sean Smith.
Draft
Whatever draft number Miami is, if Cam Newton is available, I say take him otherwise get a future RB like Mark Ingram. Now Cam Newton IMO would make the wildcat re-emerge again. I say we have Ronnie Brown go to the spot where Ricky williams used to be and have Newton call the snap. It would the wildcat very dangerous with Newton both throwing or running the football as well as Brown either running or throwing the football. If he is not available, get Mark Ingram, I am pretty sure he will be available. He is a great RB with a good speed. I compare him to a MJD. Remember, he won Heisman back in 2009. In the later rounds, just get a QB for insurance in case Kolb stays in Philly or goes elsewhere. That QB to draft would be Ricky Stanzi out of Iowa. I am a Michigan fan and watched each Big ten Quartback play when they faced Michigan. When Stanzi played against Michigan, he had alot bright spots. He is very accurate, has a good arm and good mobility. Problem is he lacks awareness and he sometimes takes too long to throw the football. Those could be improved and would make a decent backup or 3rd string quartback.
Last, but not least, I wish for no lockout next year and have some football. It will be VERY boring with no football. I'm done now.
Happy Holidays to all you Phins fans and GO DOLPHINS!!
I wonder how Brandon Marshall feels about all this
When Marshall got traded to Miami, he was happy. He has a quarterback who has alot of potential. He is out of his problems in Denver. Now, he is dealing with the same issue in Miami. Now, what does Brandon Marshall think about all the saga? Is he saying why the hell am I in a place where there is a whole lot of quarterback controversy? I remember back when ESPN had the trucks go to all NFL training camps. They interviewed Henne and Marshall. Marshall said Henne is the most accurate quarterback he has seen. Now, is he thinking man what was I saying? What do you guys think?
I'm DONE
I am tired of watching the Dolphins lose games where they should win. Why can't they win games they are supposed to? IDC how they do it, but just win like in 08. Whether by 1 or 2 points, who cares, just the get the damn W. I am sick and tired of this coaching staff. Dan Henning is to conservative, and hated when Chad Henne was on a roll and score was 17-14 and on 2nd and 10, he calls wildcat and goes for 1 yard followed by incomplete pass and followed by a missed field goal. I just couldn't believe that happened. I hate the fact that all they did on that final drive was freaking 4 yard throws with 35 seconds. FIRE TONY SPARANO!! FIRE DAN HENNING!! Bill Cowher please come to Miami, and find a better quarterback. This coming out of a Michigan football fan who loved Chad Henne and now has only little faith in him. He had himself a good game today, but he still has to make better decisions with the football. He has to got to stop overthrowing deep balls. Kevin Curtis had a step on his guy in the first half for a TD but overthrew him. That just sums up Miam's season.

Who saw that dirty Jets guy on the sideline?
While I was watching the game, Miami punted the ball. Nolan Carroll, or whoever it was but pretty sure it was Carroll, went to go make a play on Holmes during the punt return and all I see is Carroll trip and he gets hurt for a while. I thought that he just slipped on the wet field but when the replay showed, the Jets guy on the sideline put out his knee on purpose causing Carroll to trip and get hurt. Knee-on-knee is very painful and luckily it was very small and nothing serious. If it was serious, it would be a big blow to our special teams. Now to the Jets guy on the sideline, please go grab a life, I mean seriously what was a trip gonna do give u two extra yards? Funny thing is the video is on the yahoo sports website. I hope some type of discipline goes to this guy.
Here's the link if you guys didn't catch it:

It's Ronnie Brown's birthday!!
First off, I would like to wish a happy birthday to Ronnie Brown. In fantasy, I was going to bench him in both of my leagues and then i realized it is his birthday. So, I decided to start him. Now I hope to see Ronnie Brown go all out and run for his best game of the season and be part of a Dolphins victory. From what i read and heard, its going to be rainy, very wet conditions on the field when it comes to gametime, and the pass is going to be abandoned for both teams and they are both going to rely on the ground game. What do you think Ronnie Brown will do on his birthday against the Jets? I would like to see him get 100 yards and a couple scores but more realistically, 15 carries for like 60 yards and a score.
Here is what I have to say on Chad Henne
First off, I am from Michigan and am a die hard Michigan football fan. I watched Chad Henne play alongside Jake Long, Mario Manningham, Mike Hart, Steve Breaston, Braylon Edwards, J.J. Arrington, etc. He was amazing at Michigan, and he almost lead Michigan to a couple of defeats of rival Ohio State. Then the 2008 draft came. And when I saw Miami select Jake Long with the first pick, I was thrilled and very excited. Then they drafted Chad Henne, and was more happy because he could bring something to the table. Then came his chance to start as a Dolphin. He had a very decent 2009 year and I was more than hyped for this season to come. After his performances against the Patriots, Browns, Ravens, and all were very important games, and the interceptions in other games that were stupid like the Rolando McClain pick, I have way too many concerns on Chad Henne, like all of us do.
Henne keeps on saying with every mistake he does, he learns from them. Well, he hasn't. It is always the same mistake and he still hasn't learned. He has started for almost all of last year and all but one game this year and he still hasn't learned. Last year he had great accuracy. This year, it died down. It wasn't too long ago where he could hit his long bombs to receivers like he did On Darrelle Revis when he threw it to Ginn and it was perfect and couldn't ask for a better throw. It wasn't too long ago that he went 20/26 with 280 some yards along with 2 td's in a primetime game. After 3 games, his accuracy was good and once again tortured the Jets, but this time in a tough loss. After those 3 games, his accuracy shot. I really don't know what to expect of him for the rest of the season but I hope its good and can give back the trust to the staff and the fans.
Honestly, I miss the days how he threw the ball at Michigan. Now its the NFL, he has been starting for enough now and he must realize he isn't playing college football anymore. There are not as many blown coverages in the NFL as there was in college.
I do have some faith in him, but more concern. Can he real together 4 straight wins for Miami to get back his trust? I think he can but he must realize that he can do it.
GO DOLPHINS!!
Jets love Jason Allen
As I was watching the Texans and Jets game yesterday, Houston made a great comeback and had the Jets on the brink of defeat. But with a minute left, the Jets did something, which was very smart. They targeted Jason Allen. I hate Jason Allen, I mean this guy has no talent, and he isn't worth playing a snap. When Miami played Jets earlier this year, 3rd and 10 with like 2:50 left, Sanchez completes a throw to Edwards on terrible coverage by Allen. Well the same thing happened in the Jets game. the Jets are their own 35 yard line, and Sanchez goes deep to Edwards with Allen in coverage and he completes it to Edwards and gets down at the 5. Although its a long shot for Miami to win the division, I always look at the bright side and really wished the Jets lost this game. What sucks was I had a 35 year old cousin, who is a jets fan, was sitting there watching the game with me and when the texans were up, I was happy and shouted Jets suck and all that, but thanks to Jason Allen, he had the last word on me. He tells me, I will throw all my money that Miami will never do a drive like that. Sadly, I told him you are right. You can say that I am pretty much happy Jason Allen is not a Dolphins anymore.
Hey phins fans, could u gimme some fantasy help??
At Quarterback, should I start Troy Smith vs. Tampa, Ryan Fitzpatrick at Cincy, or Our Thigpen vs. Chicago.
At Wide Receiver, should I start Chad Ochocinco vs. Buffalo, Mike Williams(SEA) at NO, or Davone Bess against Chicago.
I am leaning towards Mike Williams and Troy Smith. I am considering starting Thigpen, but It is his first start and I really don't know what to expect of him, but whether I start or bench him, I hope he comes out roaring today and leads us to a victory. What do u guys think?
