Nice Article by Dan Wetzel over at Yahoo! Sports
Pretty fair analysis of our QB situation and why Tebow should start going forward.
More Details on the Attack on Jason Hunter
This is kind of rehashing old news, but since it just came across the wire today, I thought I would post it for those who are interested. By most accounts he should be fine by training camp (assuming there is a training camp...)

Why Tim Tebow is the Answer at QB
Whether you agree or not, this article provides some interesting arguments in favor of going with Tebow next season (assuming there is a next season...)
Here's a recent tweet from Adam Schefter:
@NFLCharean reports that Von Miller just ran a 4.49 at A&M's Pro Day. Hello, Top 5.

@johnelway Someone told me that some HOF QB wrote a very impressive letter to help his former TE teammate get in. Great work, John. #7scores 6:47 PM Feb 5th via ĆberTwitter

From Yahoo! Sports: "OT Tyler Polumbus is expected to start at left tackle for Seattle with rookie Russell Okung still nursing a high ankle sprain."
A nice reminder that although the Broncos have some injury concerns going into week 1, it could be much worse.
"Gotta admit, I'm surprised what my stats-driven formula barfed back for its #Broncos prediction...10-6. Details Wed. morning @ MaxDenver.com"

Overshadowed Orton looking sharp in preseason
Not much new here, but it is nice to see some national media picking up on this.
Shedding Some Light on Why We Didn't Draft Pouncey?
The NCAA is investigating improper contact between an agent and Pouncey involving a payment of $100,000 between the SEC championship and their Bowl game.
Yahoo Sports Preseason Fantasy Football QB Rankings
I know that many of you could care less about Fantasy Football Rankings and that being a good Fantasy Football player has little to do with being valuable to your team in actual games, but I wanted to point out that Orton does not even show up among the 28 QBs included in these rankings. Not much respect for our guy.
Yahoo Sports "Under Surveillance" Series Article on the Broncos
Doug Farrar is writing a series of season preview articles on each NFL team. Not surprisingly, he sees running in the red zone as the biggest issue the Broncos need to fix, and envisions a short yardage package featuring Tebow as a big part of the solution.
While there are some typical snide comments about trading all of our offensive play makers, if you ignore those parts, there is a good measure of decent analysis and even a couple of potential plays diagrammed out as well.
Article on the QB Performances at Thursday's OTA
Great post from MaxBroncos breaking down the QBs during the open portion of this Thursday's practice.
The Twitter feed from MaxBroncos is worth following too.
2010 NFL Draft Round 7 Open Thread & UFA Wish List
Still haven't gotten enough live draft chat in? Let's take it to a new thread.
Should the Broncos Trade into Round 7 or are we done until signing undrafted free agents?
Who is still available that you would like to see end up in Orange and Blue?
How are we feeling about the state of the franchise as we approach the end of the draft?
How did the Broncos fare in the draft compared to our AFC West competition?

An Inside Look At A QB Competition
Nice article by Jay Paterno (Joe Pa's son and an assistant coach at Penn State) on managing a QB competition at the college level. A lot of this translates to pro football as well, especially the stuff about the media and "inside sources".
Nice Feature on Doom's Impressive Start to the Year
Scroll down past the Fisher jersey controversy and the trade deadline wish list to find a nice feature on DOOM...
Concerning the Denver Broncos finally breaking in, it was just time. It didn't make sense to hold them out any longer. They're real. Mike Nolan has somehow crafted the defense into something that is far greater than the sum of its parts, and Josh McDaniels's has an offense that makes Kyle Orton(notes) look good. His quarterback rating is 97.7, and he has yet to throw an interception.
I don't know how they're doing it, but it's happening, and I can't deny it any longer. Even Brandon Marshall(notes) appears to have his stuff together. I don't know what to say, other than that I was wrong, I am very very dumb, and I should send Josh McDaniels the "I'm Sorry Bouquet" from FTD. Next time you come over, Merlin Olsen, you can help me out with that.
The Shutdown Five: The NFL's best alternate uniforms
I don't agree with MJD over on Yahoo very often, but the Broncos alt. uniforms made his top 5 list, and as he states:
"The Bears and Dolphins also go to orange with their alternate uniforms, but I'll give the Broncos the nod ahead of them, because it recalls a time when the Broncos had better jerseys than what they have now. This is a team that once had a defense nicknamed the Orange Crush. They weren't the Navy Blue Crush. That would've been preposterous. Orange is the first color with which I'll always associate the Broncos."
Here's hoping that the days of the "Orange Crush" are truly back!
More inanity from the Woodster. This is perhaps the dumbest synopsis of the Cutler trade I have heard yet:
"If Orton is benched for Simms right away, the Broncos will be admitting they made a terrible mistake. And no matter what else the Broncos got in the trade, it was Orton for Cutler. I want to see how it plays out."
Marshall getting in shape for unpredictable future
Interesting article about BM rehab and training at the University of Minnesota. Working with Fitz, Carter and the G.O.A.T. can't be a bad thing. Hopefully they will help him both on and off the field. I found this article to be quite encouraging.
Broncos cut LB Louis Greene.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall Requests Trade; Sign WR Brandon Lloyd
Nice article over at Bleacher report with some good analysis about why BMarsh asking for a trade is a bad idea and where BMarsh might end up should the Broncos trade him.
