Some positives, but the writer's not a fan of Miller.
Go down to the Custom Jerseys and select Player Names. This isn't proof that he'll be the 15th guy, but none of the other camp invitees have their names listed in there. I'm sure that this is offered just becaue of his ties to Portland, but come on, we need 9 guys that can fill in at small forward!
The Blazers get a B+. Portland Trail Blazers Added/Retained: Brandon Roy (contract extension), Andre Miller, Jeff Pendergraph, Dante Cunningham, Patrick Mills Lost: Sergio Rodriguez, Channing Frye Review: An argument could be made that both Hedo Turkoglu and Paul Millsap could have been added to the "Lost" list since there was a time the Blazers believed they had those players in the bag. In the end, though, Miller could turn out to be a better fit than either Millsap or Turkoglu would have been. While Miller isn't a flashy player, he's very steady. He'll bring a calm presence to the floor and is very skilled at throwing the lob pass. This will benefit Portland's athletic wings as well as a player like Greg Oden, who is still trying to get his feet underneath him in the NBA. Whether or not Miller makes the Blazers true contenders this season remains to be seen. That said, locking Roy up to a long-term deal as the team did earlier this month ensures the Blazers' best player will be in the mix for many years to come, and it looks like LaMarcus Aldridge could be on deck to get extended prior to the season. Considering the Blazers' two losses of any consequences this summer in Frye and Rodriguez weren't consistent contributors, this offseason has definitely been above average thus far in Portland. Grade: B+

One about Roy. One about Aldridge and an expected deal. Sorry if these are a repost. I looked around for the last few days and at the fan posts and fan shots and couldn't find them.
Does anyone remember with all of the flurry of non-trades right around July 1st.....there was an informal competition to get the worst trade ever on the ESPN trade machine? I think the winner ended up with a net -119. Bill Simmons posted one that improves the Knicks season to +79.
Please . . . no. Sorry if it's already out there. The article is from today, and I couldn't find it anywhere on BE. Somehow I think this someone trying to drum up interest in their client.
but I think we all knew that. I looked around and didn't see this up already. I apologize if it's there and I missed it.
Portland Tribune article Three weeks after his shoulder surgery, Steve talks a little about the effect of the draft &/or trades on the PG position.
Just posted on O-live. Didn't see a fanshot.
First post. Not worth a post. Probably not even worth a fan shot. A pretty surreal thing happened yesterday. About a week ago, I signed up on Twitter to follow the BE feed. Last night I...
