Die By The Blade cut #10 please

Ehrhoff is not the only reason this team is under performing, but he's been absolute garbage. He's sort of a big name which is the only explanation I can fathom why he's getting any ice time at all. Sometimes players have terrible hands but great vision, decision making abilties, toughness... this guy has no redeeming qualities. He turns the puck over all the time --sometimes it's because he's afraid to get in the corners, sometimes it's because he passes to the other team, --but usually, it's because his ability to use a hockey stick isn't very good. His mistakes are costly in all aspects of the game too --but mostly the PP.

That's all.

Die By The Blade Bring up Cody McCormick

If the Bruins can take Vanek down like with no consequences, Lucic's going to take Miller out pretty soon. McCormick would send the right message to these dirtbags. I'm no proponent of dirty play, but a big hit on Recchi followed by a whooping of Luci would really set things straight I think. It's tough in a 1-1 series to potentially lose a skill player for an enforcer, but if they're going to have any longevity in these playoffs, something needs to change

Die By The Blade Worst Defenseman: Sekera?

Been noticing for awhile, but tonight was what pushed me over the edge -- Andrej Sekera simply watches the puck and really only exerts only effort when it's a sure thing that he'd get the puck. Not only does he look like he's afraid to get hit all the time, he often looks to be suffering from ADD by the way he will stand flatfooted as the play develops in front of him. It's one thing to protect the area in front of the net --but you have to get a bit physical to do that. He let's anybody just skate by him and seems to have no energy or will to get anything done.

There's a lot of candidates however. Chris Butler blew it against Philly  a few games back playing like a dope at the blue line...Steve Montador never looks too sharp and his fight tonight kind of soured me on him. But Sekera gets my vote. Thoughts?
