Wake Up, Bronco Nation: 2-14-14

#Hashtag Everyone is embracing social media nowadays...the latest being the comedy duo of Jeff Elorriaga and Ryan Watkins (with special cameo by Vaudeville comic Leon Rice). Mel Kiper has...

You get a poach! And you get a poach!

In a shocking twist, Couer d'Alene Tight End Chase Blakly has flipped his verbal commitment from UW to Boise State. Who saw that one coming? This guy, apparently: I have committed to Boise State...

Wake Up, Bronco Nation: 1-28-14

Winter of our discontent nearly at an end.

Gamethread: Boise State @ New Mexico

Broncos try to overcome crippling Lobophobia tonight at The Pita Pit. This goes without saying, but Go Broncos. This, please.

So it begins. School, that is.

Cookie cake for everyone.

Patti whacked: QB departure leaves big questions

The Broncos were already thin at the QB position, but Patti's departure puts a premium on a good 2014 QB haul.

Broncos vs. Wolf Pack Live Stream

Broncos look to stop the bleeding after a close loss to SDSU and an ugly loss to Wyoming. Let's watch the game together, shall we?

Things just got interesting...er

Boise State just got big news out of Florida with the commitment of big Lakeland DT Dereck Boles...but maybe bigger news from the sunshine state is the transfer of Orlando QB Nick Patti. Broncos desperately needed a QB last year...now they may need 2 or possibly 3 in the 2014 class.

A low-res tradition.

Wake Up, Bronco Nation: 1-7-14

A fitting end to the BCS era or something.

Thank you sirs, may we have another?

After a rough month, the Broncos are right back on track and received their 3rd verbal in the last 48 hours with a pledge from TE David Lucero (6'5" 215 lbs) from Holtville, CA. Lucero's film looks like Shaq playing AAU ball, but up until the Broncos offered, he'd only caught the eye of UTEP. Really like this pickup IF we go back to actually UTILIZING the TE position (which is a safe bet). Lucero reminds me a bit of SDSU stud TE Gavin Escobar. Will visit on the 25th of this month.

Broncos land second commit of Harsin era with Su'esu'e

News just broke of the verbal commitment of East High guard Tennessee Su'esu'e—a 6'2" 295 lb. bulldozer out of Salt Lake City. Su'esu'e was offered on Friday and it was hinted that it was the offer he'd been waiting for. Su'esu'e becomes the second verbal commit to Harsin's new staff (along with yesterday's HUGE Dylan Sumner-Gardner flip). A few holdovers from Pete's staff remain as well, but commitment levels of the old staff's recruits are hard to gauge. Su'esu'e's (that's a lot of apostrophes) highlight video can be found HERE and he's reportedly visiting campus on the 24th of this month.

Release the good: Broncos visit Children's Hospital

Nice little gallery from the Statesman of our players NOT doing stupid things in Hawaii, but rather brightening the days of sick kids at the Shriners Hospital in Honolulu. Good work, boys. Get that win tonight.

It's come to this

Ugh. Just ugh.

Harsin assembling Bronco Dream Team

There's no place like home

Watch Bryan Harsin's introductory press conference live

Drink "enhanced" egg nog every time someone says the word "excited" (Kustra included)

Get em while they're hot

An Arkansas t-shirt site appears to be having a fire sale on "Harsin is my Homeboy" shirts. Scoop them up while you can because if we made our own, we'd get a cease and desist letter from the athletic department within a week. LINK

Welcome back, Koetter...er...Harsin

Never go against the family

Broncos dip into Big Sky country for latest verbal

The Broncos picked up their 13th verbal commit of their 2014 recruiting class on Sunday with the addition of 6'5" 250 lb. DE Will Dissly out of Bozeman, MT. Dissly was in town for the New Mexico game and called Coach Pete with his pledge on Sunday night. Word finally got out today. Dissly attended the Broncos football camp this summer and was actually offered while his team was in Moscow for the Vandals football camp—the Vandals had also extended an offer to the versatile (and big) athlete as did hometown Montana State, Colorado State, Idaho State, Montana and Northern Arizona. Dissly led his team to a state title a few weeks ago and is also a standout basketball player and state champion shot-putter. Chadd Cripe has more on Dissly's commitment over at the Statesman and highlights can be found HERE and HERE. A nice piece on Dissly posted prior to the state title game can finally be found HERE.
