No Longer T+1?

I had no idea they were thinking about moving the game back to Thanksgiving night, that certainly interferes with me being able to get back for the game as an alumnus, but makes for great television to distract me from lame cowgirls and lions games...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/big12/stories/MYSA010708.aggies-horns.en.1cf37d93.html

Watching the Horns in NYC

Last week there were some New Yorkers looking for a better place to watch the game than Stout, so I wanted to post something for them.  I'll be up there this weekend and my little brother found a place that is running an all-you-can-drink special and is showing the game.  I haven't been there and I've heard they only have 8 tv's, but I figure if I put back enough alcohol it'll be worth it.  The place is called Whistlin' Dixie's Texas Tavern (www.dixiestexastavern.com), it's on the far west side and with a reservation and $25 you get unlimited well mixed drinks- unlimited beer- all drafts (imports and domestics) and Unlimited Wine and waffle fries.  Also they have $3 Lone Star Pints, $6 Pitchers of budlight, 2 for 1 corn dogs.  The girl who emailed my brother's friend is Katie Jane Dropkin (I think she's a promoter), her email is Kjane3454@yahoo.com and the number for Dixie's is 212-349-4370.

The Washington Post Says KD should stay

I've never heard of this sportswriter, but she makes more points to give us hope, focusing on how he was raised and finishing with this thought:

"What brought Durant this far was a certain order and thoroughness, he is all about working in an organized way toward an end. Everything the family has done to date suggests that they see this as a slow, steady step-by-step process, one that has stressed fundamentals over shortcuts. They may decide that Durant won't be improved by haste now."
