Is it time to expand Autzen again?

With the success of Oregon football and the growing demand of tickets, should the athletic department expand? One problem might be harder to expand since its a bowl shape but surely not impossible. Its not like husky stadium where you can just slap on a upper deck.

This might seem crazy at this time with PK park and Matt arena. Also with the economy down, but with the economy down it would be cheaper.

Every single game is always sold out no matter the quality of the team. Its crazy how single game tickets are sold out in hours. There would be no problem selling a few more thousand tickets. Usually there's more people then there are seats!

Autzen is a great venue but I did come up with a few ideas to make it better.

-Duh more seats but the question is how many? I am thinking about 6,000 to make the capacity at a even 60,000. (does any one really know the capacity I have seen these numbers 54,000, 56,000 and 58,000. For some reason I go with 54,000.)

- MId-way entrances all around stadium

~~-New Duck Vision video board!~~

-Back rest for the ENTIRE stadium!

- A parking structure is long over due. Could be built on campus and shuttles to Autzen or walk which I highly recommend . Especially with PK park taking up some spots.

I think its time to start or at least thinking about it because it would take a few years to get the money and get it cleared by the state.

The winner of the best home uniform combo was Arizona. The classic green was your favorite helmet. Now its time for the best road combo. I would say all white is the early favorite or the WSU combo or maybe the wild card the banana look. (ASU)

We left off with JJ running down the sideline @ OSU. UCLA is up next and the Ducks were looking good in green black black. UO 31 UCLA 24.

I like it. I think if the duck got rid of the grellow helmet and had yellow helmet white top yellow bottom i think that would look really tight!! On a side note ASU wasn't wearing there gold bottoms. Could that be because the Ducks were wearing there yellow bottoms???

My favorite combo of the year. what a wet day!! i had to stand the whole game so my legs Wouldnt be soaked!

Arizona= all black. We saw new uniforms plus a new black helmet. The black towels for the fans and the black flag really made it all come together. It makes me wonder if that the old unis will be replaced by something similar to what we saw in the Arizona game.

First to make a decision on the best uniform in 2008 we need to take a look back at the games.....

O how can we forget the first combo of the season the classic look all green!!! Not my favorite but at the same time you cant dis-like all green. Really anything looks good when you take down the fuskies 44-10

Maybe be the worst combo of the season came against Utah state. I guess it was the yellow helmet that made it so weird/ugly! Yellow helmet, Green top, Black bottom. But i did like the yellow helmet in the game against Boise State. Ducks 66 Aggies 24

Our first road game of the year Purdue. We saw the white helmets 5th appearance. White White Green. I have already heard from someone this was one of there top combos but I like the green white green combo better.( seen at Wsu)

The best combo I have seen with the yellow helmet came against Boise State!! It was the 4th time we seen the yellow helmet. To bad it was a 32-37 loss for the ducks=(. Ducks are only 1-3 with the yellow helmet.... 1-2 with the green O on the sides.
