I am an Oregon Ducks fan currently living in North Carolina. I am 16 years old and have been a Ducks fan since watching the Oregon-Oklahoma game in 2006. I was captured by their exciting offense, slick jerseys, and the unbelievable passion of the fans not found anywhere in the south (despite popular conception).

Addicted To Quack The inferiority of the humble, conceding fan.

I write this partially in response to a recent fanpost entitled "From a man who has been there..." which I appreciated greatly. All thanks go to davereg412).

"How often are you asked about writing that Oregon fan a check to reimburse him for his trip to Boise State in 2009?"
"I never have commented on that and I never will."

Addicted To Quack Are the Ducks being set up for a let down?

I'm not saying ASU is a trap game that we should get overly concerned about. Really Oregon should never have any trap games as long as Chip is at the head coaching position.  However, am I the only one who is getting tired of hearing about how great our offense is (and lately even the defense)? We all know how potent our offense is, and lately we've seen amazing examples of this that may have blurred our vision a little bit. Now we've all heard about the latest competition hasn't been very strong so that doesn't need to be brought up again but with all the talk about leading the country in several categories and being on track to break several records I think we need to make sure we have perspective. If the critics and pollsters get used to seeing huge numbers like this, then we have less and less room to struggle in games. If the games start getting closer (and they will) the Ducks might start losing credibility for not posting 40 or 50+ points or running for over 300 yards. Do you think this could affect being considered for a NC if we are lucky enough to run the table? Could we get jumped over by say Oklahoma if our MOV's start decreasing? Just wondering what your thoughts are.

Are the Ducks in danger of being skipped over if they do not dominate every game?
Yes, we should run up the score whenever possible.

No, we'll be fine as long as we win.

We still got it! Even after the embarrassing numbers USC gave up to Hawaii last night Oregon's '09 rout of USC is still the worst. I saw this chart and found it amusing to say the least.

I found this nice piece with Aaron Brooks being interviewed by another Duck legend. God I miss this man. Hopefully Duck basketball will be able to return to it's glory days soon.

I saw this today and was shocked! Admittedly this fanshot is ridiculous but the similarities are undeniable! They could be twins not to mention the mans' name is Tim also. Just pause the video about six seconds through and then look at the picture!
