Addicted To Quack USC @ OSU

The Bevs lead USC 14-0 midway through the second quarter in an absolute shocker. Jaquizz rodgers in runnin right through the so called stout USC defense . I know USC will come back in the second half and turn this one into a blowout, but for now, The barkrodents are dominating the game .At least this gives us some hope when we go down and play USC at the coliseum.  We gotta be pullin for them in this one, right?

Addicted To Quack Chris Harper

I dont know if this deserves its own thread or not, but last night when watching the game it became apparent to me that Chris Harper will be a very effective qb in our spread offense. However, I only got to see half of his game. I am pretty sure that Harper never threw the ball. If Roper is out it seems as though Harper will be much more effective at qb than Masoli will be. If we are going to run  a 2 qb system we at least need to give harper a shot at throwing the ball because other defenses will just stack the box and eventually stop his run game when he is in. I would love to see Harper play at least half the game against Utah State and actually see if he can run the offense and be a true dual threat qb.

Addicted To Quack Bellotti

Bellotti was interviewed for the UCLA job. This looks like UCLA is seriously considering considering him for their coaching vacancy. "LAS VEGAS - UCLA's coaching search has taken them to the Northtwest, where several UCLA administrators met with Oregon coach Mike Bellotti, sources said.
Bellotti is 105-50 since taking over at Oregon in 1995, and is considered one of the top offensive coaches in the West."

One of the top JuCo Rb's in the nation committed to Oregon today. great news that we will have a solid rb if Stewart decides to leave. He was between FSU and Oregon, wonder if the scandal at FSU had anything to do with his decision? he runs a 4.50 40 yard dash and has a similar build to J-stew

A 4 star dual threat at QB and RB Chris Harper made his decision today on whether to commit to Kansas State or Oregon. He committed to K-state. The ducks  were looking at him to replace stewart at running back after this year because he runs a 4.4 40 and is very physical runner. this hurts our recruiting class because he was our number one option for running back

Addicted To Quack New Recruit

It says on scout.com that the ducks are after a new 4-star recruit, Ater Majok, for the 2008 basketball season, and that he has a high level of interest, and that a scholarship has been offered to him. How would this work, they already have the maximum amount of scholarships filled for the 2008 season?

Addicted To Quack Pac 10 Upsets

Moving on to basketball, is anyone concerned with the upsets thus far in the PAC-10. Does this make our conference look weaker when USC is losing to Mercer and Stanford is losing to siena. Or does this help us giving us an easier road than expected to the pac-10 championship. When it comes down to it we have a relatively easy non-conference schedule outside of kansas state and if the in conference teams are losing their "cupcake" games it will hurt if we lose to one of these teams and hurt our tourney resume
