35 yr old living in Virginia but originally from NJ. Padres fan since '83. My favorite player was Nettles and followed him over in the trade from the Yankees and have stayed a fan ever since. I guess I picked wrong ;). Try growing up in NJ rooting for a turrible team from the west coast, it sucks. The only games I would be able to see was when they played the Mets and Braves who are on TBS. Never been past the Ol' Mississippi River so I never have been to The Murph let alone Petco but I will soon. My wife can care less about beisbol and all sports so its a tough sell. I guess I picked wrong again, there seems to be a theme growing here. Let me stop before I tell you I wear pink panties

Anthony Rizzo Name Game

What can we call this behemoth of the West? Savior was taken by Chase Headley so thats gone. My favorite so far is "Big Ant". Another I thought of was "Saint Anthony". Oh well, whatcha got?

Gaslamp Ball Is Kyle Blanks getting Headley'd?

Being young and in the Bigs is hard enough and Blanks transitioning to a new position thats almost completely opposite from his natural position could be wearing on him.  Headley mentioned this while he played LF and I think Blanks is being hurt by this also.  Its an extremely small sample of games so far but I am getting worried that he could make a run at Brian Giles and his below .200 avg when June comes around. Is it better to get your growing pains w/ the parent club or at AAA?
