I understand Hasselbeck "bashing" here has been a favored pass-time the past several seasons, for good or ill. But this is a solid interview from the QB who led the Seahawks to their greatest successes. For what it's worth...

I'm a bit surprised by the retirement but not the fact he won't be a part of the Seahawks. His role always struck me as too one dimensional for a team in the beginning stages of rebuilding.

Not good. Should any of this be true, he's compounded his errors significantly. Let's hope there's nothing to this for everyone's sake.

Coach Carroll was on NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me this morning. A pretty unusual setting for an NFL coach to be interviewed, but worth a listen. It's funny, engaging and a bit quirky.

Perhaps this is Rooney Rule, perhaps it's more serious but interesting none the less. He likes bringing aboard people he's familiar with.

It seems odd to me that Burleson or Curry weren't placed on IR so Walker wouldn't be exposed to waivers.
