Chad Ford Insider mock draft 6.0. fresh off the presses!
"PICK TEAM PLAYER VITALS
Golden State
Jordan Hill
Position: PF
Height: 6-10
Weight: 232
Age: 21
School: Arizona
Analysis: The Warriors don't have a traditional point guard, and they'll have at least three to choose from here, including Jonny Flynn, Brandon Jennings and Jrue Holiday. The problem for the Warriors is that they have a young player, Monta Ellis, who thinks he's a point guard and a coach, Don Nelson, who appears to be committed to giving Ellis a shot at running the point.
That means that even though Flynn, Jennings and Holiday all are on the board here, the Warriors could pass on all three.
I think that puts Hill strongly in play here. He's a mobile big man, which Nellie likes, and he's got a great motor. It wouldn't shock me to see Golden State move Brandan Wright this summer, and if it does, Hill fits right in. "
Ball Don't Lie! With the 7th pick the GSW choose.......
We can only hope!
Team Needs ESPN Insider
For you non insiders here you go!
Golden State Warriors
Pick: 7
Team Needs: Point guard
The Skinny: The Warriors have had a glaring hole at the point-guard position ever since Baron Davis bolted last summer. On paper, Monta Ellis is supposed to be their point guard of the future, but everyone understands right now he's more of a scorer than a distributor. There have been several media reports claiming that the Warriors promised Ellis they wouldn't draft a point guard, a report Warriors GM Larry Riley emphatically denies. There are two sides to every story, and in a draft filled with promising point guards, I think it would be a huge mistake for the Warriors to pass on one.
NBATV Warrior Draft Preview
They have us drafting the usual suspects. Fun to watch ousiders viewpoint nevertheless.
Great Draft Article
Nice to read some unbiased draft opinion by a knowlegeable source. It is very interesting!
Tim Kawakamis most recent San Jose Mercury news Article
It is clear that even Tim K will not write his own BS in the San Jose Mercury News. Why? Because the editor makes him have some type of journalistic integrity. So when Tims alter ego wants to stir the pot and make up BS he does it on his BLOG! This link is proof of that. Slightly different than his views on his BS BLOG don't ya think?! Guess if he has to put it in the paper where it is considered real news he has to be a little more accurate.
