Sabres-Bruins-Sabres
So the Leafs are playing the Sabres on Friday, the Bruins on Saturday, and then the Sabres again on Monday.
These teams are like Leaf kryptonite thus far in the season. Call me crazy, but maybe the Leafs will win one of these games. Like, come on, Toronto can't lose to Boston and Buffalo all season, right?...Right?!
Well, what do you guys think'll happen? I believe Toskalol is starting on Friday, and chances are Miller is starting for the Sabres. Miller is pretty OK, I guess.

Playoff Hopes Dusted?
I think that the playoff hopes that were so high at the beginning of the season have pretty much been destroyed.
Although by no means mathematically impossible to make the post-season, the Leafs just don't have a good enough squad to compete for a top 8 spot. Their play is just too poor overall to get anywhere close to 95 points.
Are there any people that still believe? Can the Leafs play over .600 hockey for the rest of the season? If I was a betting man, I would not put any money on the Leafs' chances of doing that.
I usually know the Leafs are not making the playoffs for certain in February (and very rarely, March). Now I'm almost certain their playoff hopes are dead in mid-November.
Thoughts? If anyone is more optimistic, I would like to be convinced that the glass is half full.
