I have been curious of how Tyler compares to some of the elite NFL QB's, so I looked up a few. These are just the first 3 (who I happen to think are the top 3 current NFL QB's):

Tom Brady, 2001 (2nd year):

95 rat 63/121 820yds 5TD 0INT VS Indx2 Mia, SD (first 2 games: 0 TD under 300yds combined)

Drew Brees, 2002 (2nd):

88.6 57/96 608 4 2 vs Cin, Hou, Ari, NWE

Peyton Manning, 1998 (Rookie):

78.6 96/154 1031 5 5 vs Chi, Min, Jac, Hou

Tyler Thigpen, 2008 (2nd):

83.1 80/138 838 7 3 vs ATL, NYJ, TAM, SD

I have them broken down per game also, but just showed the average over 4 for now...

I might compare more later for fun as well.

Anybody know if LJ practiced today (or do they comeback Tue?)? Or what his status is this week? If he's playing? Partially curious also 'cuz I DO have him on one of my fantasy teams...

I'm just filling in words now so that it will allow me to publish this because I need seventy five words first.

Fourteen more to go... Sorry if this is unneccessary but I just wanted to ask and don't know any other way other than to comment and then sort through the comments...

Everyone of those guys left AFTER they won rings. (Except Reggie I think, i dont know that there was a time he WASN't a packer : ) They all moved because they wanted to start, not end their HOF careers on the bench...

I found a cool article on LJ and I really like this line,
