Orlando Pinstriped Post Magic sign Chris Duhon to 4 yr/15m according to Chad Ford (link)

http://es.pn/cbfWej

I assume this uses up more than half of ur MLE. Unless Matt Barnes takes the Vet Min or Bi-annual, which I think we have-but don't quote me. Duhon is relatively young point guard who has rangy defense and 3-point shooting to his name. However, I think Matt Barnes is more valuable to this team. I just can't see how we let him walk. Solid backup, but I'd rather have Barnes. I hope Otis knows what he's doing.

Orlando Pinstriped Post I Saw Jameer poolside at the JW Marriott

First of all, he looks about 5'9. He also looked like a good dad, as he played with his kids as if he were one himself. He was with his family and had about 3-4 kids, a couple of which were beautiful. It was really cool as I looked up and saw the "All Eyes On Me" tattoo. I didn't believe it was him at first, but sure enough I realized an NBA player was 5 feet away. I took a picture with him at the bar as he didn't hesitate at all to take one. Meer was a really nice guy to say the least. Before he left, I asked him "How do you feel", after which he said "Great" and said "Stay healthy", after which he said "I'm trying", as he laughed. All in all it was an awesome experience with a great guy.

Orlando Pinstriped Post I really like Brandon Bass

This guy is a really solid player. I know Rasheed Wallace is looking at us, however he may not be able to start, and I think he still aims to do that. If we start Nelson, Carter, Shard, Sheed, and Howard, that is 5 all-stars with not enough basketballs to go around. I seriously think he'll choose Boston as they aren't afraid to go into the luxury tax. (They are already 20 million+in the hole.) He can also start over there as the 5 if they slide Perkins to the bench. He is as young as C. Lee, and already has 3 years experience, and I think he could contribute in a different way as Lee, but at the 4 spot. His rebounding and finishing ability is what we are missing. He would certainly be an upgrade over Battie. If he slips into free agency, as I guess he will, look for the Magic to pounce on him with a $10 million/3 year deal. I think that is suitable for him, right? Give me your thoughts or other suggestions.

Orlando Pinstriped Post Match-up Questions vs. LA

Well first off, we have Superman, who is learning to read double teams better to make our offense click. Play him one-on-one if you want. But he will definitely take advantage of that. If you double him, the 3s will start pouring in. Pick your poison. Next off, we have Rashard Lewis, who also is a matchup nightmare. He can jab step to get you off of him and launch a three, or go past you on a drive to the hoop. Finally we have Turk. He is virtually a 6'10 PG that can assist/drive/shoot over the top. Those three will most likely lead the way.

Who will guard Pau Gasol? My guess is Rashard Lewis. If Bynum isn't feeling well, I suppose Paul will move to center. However, Pau will work Shard in the post. I know Rashard is tough post defender, put Gasol is a very talented 7 footer.

Will Courtney Lee start or will Pietrus? I don't think you make any drastic changes as we are rolling right now. I say stick with the solid rookie

Will Kobe shred us up? I think he will get his. Lets face it-it is Kobe we are talking about. I think Stan needs to find a way to make the others beat us. If Ariza beats us up, then so be it.

Will we win the series? YES!!!!!!!!!!

GO MAGIC!!!!!! Keep the BEAT LA chants going. I love it.

Orlando Pinstriped Post Howard's Sixth Technical Foul Officially Rescinded

http://www.wesh.com/sports/19581793/detail.html

This is great news for Dwight Howard and the Magic. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief after hearing this. He doesn't want to be dangling on the suspension line. Varejao among others are good at aggravating the players on the Magic. He needs to keep his cool and walk away from the frustration. Dwight also needs to avoid double-technical plays that could get him right back in this situation.

GO MAGIC!!!!!!!!!
