RUMOR: Miami, Orlando and Washington discuss S&T, shuffle draft picks
Miami, Orlando and Washington discuss S&T, shuffle draft picks… Toronto and Philadelphia want in too
Nothing is imminent, but with the 2010 NBA Draft looming, the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards have discussed a possible sign-and-trade scenario involving Heat forward Udonis Haslem and Wizards swingman Josh Howard. The proposed trade has the Orlando Magic receiving the aforementioned Haslem, Miami sharpshooter Daequan Cook, and former Clippers pick Al Thornton (whom the Wizards received in the three-team deal that sent Antawn Jamison to the Cavaliers). Miami, looking to solidify its core in order to attract free agents, is rumored to receive Josh Howard, Orlando back-up center Marcin Gortat, and Orlando’s No. 29 pick. Washington, who are determined to build a young nucleus around consensus No. 1 pick John Wall, get Miami forward Michael Beasley (a former No. 2 pick), Orlando forward Ryan Anderson, Miami’s No. 18 pick, and Orlando’s No. 59 pick. However, nothing is set in stone, as the Toronto Raptors (who could sign-and-trade star forward Chris Bosh) and the Philadelphia 76ers (who hold the rights to the No. 2 pick) also want to get involved in the talks.
In a separate deal, the Raptors and Detroit Pistons have reached out to each other about a Hedo Turkoglu-for-Tayshaun Prince swap, a trade that fell through at the deadline in Februay.
I found this on a forum and the poster got it from a hip-hop site that gave no source
