Caption this GREAT photo...
I ran across a very good picture while over at Iggles Blog today. This photo originated from philly.com, and I thought it would be fun to create some captions for it over here; especially in light of the the current rumors. I can think of a number of great things to say to this. Let's hear what you guys can think up. Definitely have some fun with this. I think it's a hilarious picture. This should be good...

Breakout player of 2009...
Of all the players on the current roster, who do you believe will have a breakout season this year?
Will DeSean Jackson be the breakout receiver we think he may be? He had a great start in his rookie year, but now that teams know who he is and have film to game plan against him, will he be able thrive on that and give us a 1,000 yard season? He surely has the potential, but will he deliver?
How about Stewart Bradley? We all know his name here in Philadelphia, but will he step his game up another level and become a household name in this league? The kid is smart and has the talent, but does he have Ray Lewis-type potential? He has the chance this season to become the voice and leader of this defense. I'd like to see him get a little more emotion and excel this defense.
Maybe it could be Asante Samuel. He had a great year last year, especially down the stretch. But I know we all sighed as we saw quite a few balls go through his hands last year. Granted, he did make the pro bowl, but I feel that with one year of experience under JJ's defense, he can go out there and play a little bit better since he shouldn't have to think as much.
Could Chris Clemons come out and dominate at defensive end? I saw some great things from this guy towards the end of the year, but it seemed a little inconsistant at times. He had some troubles with his health in the offseason last year, and I believe that hindered him in the first half of the season. Could his second year on the team be his breakout season. I see the potential.
I could make an argument for a number of players on this team to have a breakout season. Maybe Celek proves that he can be that go to tight end? Or could Jason Avant continue to show us that he gets better and better every year and could be that go to clutch receiver? Maybe David Akers finally breaks out of his "slump" and becomes the kicker we always knew as "automatic" again. Maybe Lorenzo Booker breaks out and rushes for 1,000 yards this season? OK, the Booker thing is a joke!
Anyway, I just wanted to see who you guys feel could take this year by storm! What do you think? It could be somebody I listed or anybody I haven't listed. Maybe it could be a new member this year like Sean Jones, Leonard Weaver, or Stacy Andrews? I know it's early, but I think this would be something fun to discuss.

Stirring up RB conversation
I wanted to post something interesting on here just to see what you guys think about it. We've all been talking running back a lot this looooong offseason and I wanted to run a thought provoking scenario by you guys. Ok, so we know that Edgerrin James wants out of Arizona. Would anybody be interested in this guy? I haven't seen and Edgerrin post in a while, so I thought I'd revisit it. Yeah, he's 30 and we know how much Andy and Co. love 30somethings, but remember the days when we had BWest, Staley, & Buck? I kind of like the three-headed snake approach at running back. It worked well for us then, it worked pretty well for the Giants last year, too. So if we have BWest, Edge, and a rookie (Moreno, Brown, Wells, McCoy) how good do you think our backfield would be? You can throw Weaver in there and we got ourselves a force.
Sometimes I feel we get too caught up on getting a receiver that we forget how poor our running game can be at times. As we always see, running backs get pounded in this league, especially Wesbrook, and having fresh legs is always a plus. This could create tons of options for the birds (for example, having Wesbrook line up at receiver more - potentially helping to solve that problem). Edge is definitely a plus over Booker. Who would be that upset to lose Booker, honestly? Edge didn't have the best of years last year (133 Att. 514 yrds), so we could possibly get him at a lower price (and he is 30 so that lowers price too), sign him to a one year deal and see what happens. He's been a pretty consistent 1,000 yard guy (7 in 10 years). The rookie now has two vets to learn from and helps ease the young guy into an NFL system. This takes pressure off of Wesbrook, pressure off of the rookie, pressure off McNabb and the passing game, and pressure off of us as fans since that would be just a nasty backfield!!
I could see it working, although it won't happen, of course. It's just a shot in the dark, what do you guys think? I know maybe he brings issues, but wouldn't it be worth a thought at least? Maybe I'm just crazy. Some of you guys are smarter at this than me, so take me to school and tell me why this doesn't make any sense...or why it maybe could?
