See ya Neil - Cmon Down Ian Laperriere
Neil $1.7 mill per year for 4 years, and he turns it down...see ya later mate.
Ian Laperriere has not been offered a contract, he was $1.15 mill last year and apparently according to Aaron Musick the blogger from Hockey Buzz had a good year with the Av's last year.
I think with Heatley, Neil, potentially going it maybe good for the Sens under Clouston to get some fresh faces in that locker room.
Heatley Joining Redden?
Reading the Blue Shirt Banter web site and I can see a lot of talk with Gomez now moving to the Habs (Gainey your a donkey) clearing a lot of room for Heatley's salary and ego.
I really hope we get Dubinsky if we trade to NYR, he is a top six forward though not a sniper that Heatley would have been. Though seems to work harder and is a young kid allowing Murray to look for a that #1 forward with revenue to spare.
I am still laughing at Gainey taking Gomez who is definitely not a #1 Center, who not only took a large salary but also gave up his 1st round draft pick in 2007 Eee-haawwww
Heatley
Hey Sens fan here, always liked the Rangers especially now with Torts, and if Heatley goes anywhere in the East I hope it is there. Though I hope the return includes Dubinsky he is gonna be a quality player.
I wouldn't be surprised getting some dross back or some picks for Heatley, and perhaps he could meet up and have some beers with an over paid contract buddy from the Senators..Redden. What is the verdict on Redden there?
Good luck this year..
