I had to make this a Fan Post just because... Well because it needed to be done.

There was a lot of jawing back and forth this past off-season about the numbers that Roy E. Williams of the Cowboys would have this year. (JIBTA swore he would be a stud)

After 4 games he has 11 catches for 214yrds. and 1 touchdown.

When divided down and multiplied by 16 he would average

44 catches for 856 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Hardly Elite.

I am soooo glad the Cowboys mortgaged thier future on this guy.

They even took him out at the end of the game yesterday.

...and to think we spent a 2nd on a little punk from a no name school....

Ok.... Here we go ....

Ok, so now we have Victor Abiamiri Questionable with a groin injury. How is this going to effect the pressure we have on the left side? What will we do to compensate. Babin back "Ribs" anyone (Pun Intended) Speaking of Ribs. Coach Reid now says the "It's Sticky" (That's what she said) about McNabbs Rib injury and he is listed as Doubtful. That means he is feeling better and the rib is not floating in his Rib Cage. Good sign but I feel he will not play. Herremans, Mays are out.

I am posting this article as a Fan Post because.... Well it deserves it.

Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia

Analysis: Huge production for an extended period of time … offense built around him … ability to extend the play makes him very hard to defend … no such thing as a dead play with McNabb … can beat the perfect defensive call because of his experience combined with strength and athleticism … sometimes inconsistent with his accuracy.

Eli Manning, New York Giants

Analysis: Proven winner who has become a great big-game quarterback … cerebral player … has huge responsibilities at the line of scrimmage, allowing the Giants to be very multiple on offense, paying huge dividends in the run game (almost every run they have is some sort of box-count run or is conditional on safety alignment or defensive spacing, with Manning getting the Giants into better running plays) … still shows inconsistency as a passer.

I this article Trent Dilfer has McNabb as the 6th best QB in the League. He has Eli at #7. I agree with this, and frankly Trent's ability to break down QB's kind of surprises me. He was thorough and did a good job. There are always points you can argue, but overall rating I think was as close as you're gonna get without nit-picking minute details.

O-Line

My personal observations and thoughts.

Regardless of what the players say, lack of health and for lack of a better term"gelling" time has hurt thier performance.

A couple things I saw.

1. Peters is a monster. He is not fully in game shape yet. I did however see him drive the DE on his side into the dirt numerous times like a little kid getting a piledriver by his older brother. He needs these next 2 weeks but I feel is improving week to week.

2. Stacey Andrews is worth the money. He wasn't in very long but he can pull the whole goddamn line with him.

3. Winston Justice struggled a little. He is far better than I thought he would be and still getting better. I do not want him starting for our team, I do however believe he may be better than a lot of NFL back-ups. Which makes him valuable.

4. Nick Cole..... Ummm.

5. Herremans is out for a couple more weeks. I think maybe 6-8 even though they said 2-4. The feet account for one quarter of all the human body’s bones. You may not give your feet much thought but they are home to more bones than any other part of your body. How many? Of the two hundred or so bones in the body, the feet contain a whopping 52 of them. Supporting the weight of a massive man is alot to ask, 2-4 weeks after surgery.

Shawn Andrews. I know as much as the next guy. (WTFK)? whothefuckknows?

All in all I feel that in the next couple weeks with our line getting healthier and when we get Herremans back we will have a very, very good line down the stretch. With our first couple games of the season being easier on us Defensively (Excluding Peppers) I believe it will give us time to articulate a personality on the Line and become battle ready for the mid to late season run.

The team isn't actually that bad.

You see, the Eagles and the FO were really tired of being heavily favored this year. They know that if they fall one game short of the Superbowl expectation the city will hang them, so they divised a master plan.

#1. Pretend like all your starting lineman are hurt. It's ok to leave one in so others don't suspect it's a ruse.

#2. Don't put too much pressure on the opposing team's quarterback, or else they will know you are powerful.

#3. Give up long pass play's(from lack of communication) Don't want them to know how deep we are there.

#4. Have our #2 and #3 Tight Ends play down to Pop Warner level, giving a false sense of security to other teams.

#5. Have one flashy TD play so as not to give up our position.

#6. Pretend to be distrought after the loss and disappointed, icing on the cake.

#7. Talk up Rookies like they are gods, when in fact, they are just Rookies.

#8. Fake a rash of Knee injuries, including a season ending one or two.

#9. Tell our Line Backers not to be good in coverage, making every TE look like Witten.

If all works according to plan, we will not be the heavy favorites anymore and we will come out swinging in the regular season and shock the world!

So far, it's working PERFECTLY!

I all seriousnes, I think we'll be fine, but I was inspired.

Starters for Indy

This little post is just a concern about tomorrows game.

Tomorrow night King Dunlap the 5th will start at Left Tackle against Stud RDE Dwight Freeney. Our Starting Right Tackle will be Winston Justice. Reid announced yesterday that the starters will play the first half of the game. Now I'm not sure if anyone else is just a little nervous about this, but I am. Sure, it's a good way to get McNabb's conditioning better for the season, you know, with all the wind sprints he's gonna be doing in the game and all, but I don't like it. Maybe if Kolb or Vick or Feeley were in there, sure!

How do you guys think the KING will do?

Celek's injury

Hey Guy's

Now with Celek out with an A/C joint sprain, which is the pulled separation of the Acromion and Clavicle conjuction, this leaves a gaping hole at TE. Celek should be fine in a week or two. I know we have all discussed this and it is an important issue, but I want to discuss the possible positive outcome of this injury. In my point of view it is almost a lock that the FO has to make a move for some Veteran TE. Bright looked lost and the other new kid is built like a receiver. I just see with all the moves we have made this offseason{now including MV} I don't see how we would do so much and then leave such an important spot such as #2 TE empty. Then again Klecko was our FB for a little...

Thanks for listening.... Any thoughts?
