Based on the Eagles performance this past weekend against Vernon Davis I was wondering what you all thought about Davis' talent vs. Wittens talent. This comes up because I posted a remark over on the Cowgirls blog in response to a statement about how Philly can’t cover TE's. I simply said that they did a good job in shutting down Davis therefore I have a good feeling about their chances against Witten. Someone responded that you can’t compare Davis and Witten. On paper Davis has more TD's and around the same or maybe more yards on  fewer receptions. A lot of the folks here are far more knowledgeable about the game than I am so I was interested in what you think.

Don’t mean to look past this weeks game with Denver. Should be another good test against a D, that when it shows up, is pretty tough.

I realize this is off topic but life will be taking me out of town for the opening game against Carolina. Not sure what I did to deserve this. There is a long list of possible reasons. Anyways, I'll be in the Deep Creek area of Maryland and was hoping by some miracle someone knows a great place to catch the game. Hell, it doesnt matter what kind of place it is. From what I hear there are a lot of Steelers bars in the area. Thanks for any help...

I was cursing #5 as much as anyone but I really think it comes down to managment. I agree with pretty much everything this article says. Whats everyone else think? Reid has done great things for this team. Or should I say DID. But as this article states, what have you done for us lately? Thanks for almost getting us there but we need someone who WILL get us there. Just think if we had picked up someone like Jacobs. Not that Reid would use him though.
