Only way Kings win 40 is if Ben's play improves at SG. Play more like he did in game 82, not yesterday.
Commented on Explaining the Trade Exception the Kings got in the Isaiah Thomas sign-and-trade on Jul 12 2014, 1:43p
Yea it's frustrating watching many teams that in the last 10 years have been good, blown up there roster, and returned to being competitive and the Kings are still trying to figure out how to win 35 games.

My thoughts exactly. 1st & Pacific is better given the location.

Yea Cespedes missed two hittable pitches, and Norris missed one center cut by fouling it off, not our night boys.

Rodney was struggling in the 9th, and the ump let him off the hook. The Mariners are who were thought they were!!

I still think a move for Rollins makes the most since, and slide Lowrie over 2B which is better fit for Lowrie.

Hey look at the bright side for him. He's in a better situation being that he gets to compete for a division title. Arizona is going nowhere short term.
Commented on Billy Beane's Athletics are all-in like we've never seen before on Jul 6 2014, 2:14p
My opinion is if you have a team that looks to be something special you go for it. Isn't that what teams are attempting to do every year? Play for now, your window is this year and next year..
Commented on Billy Beane's Athletics are all-in like we've never seen before on Jul 6 2014, 2:11p
The A's have enough pieces where they should have a very good team next year as well if they choose to go for it. Or rebuild the farm system, either way they will have options.
Commented on Billy Beane's Athletics are all-in like we've never seen before on Jul 6 2014, 2:09p
We have a window of about 2 years, Billy went out and got a 2 solid starters to make a serious run for the Fall Classic.

This isn't the NFL. Besides he has one year left on his current contract.

I don't think it was ridiculous money. Perhaps a slight overpay, but they lured him away from the Clips who look to be contenders next year.
Commented on Kings sign Darren Collison on Jul 3 2014, 12:57p
To get free agents to come to Sacramento your gonna have to overpay a bit right now. When you have a solid franchise and start winning it becomes easier.
Commented on Kings sign Darren Collison on Jul 3 2014, 12:52p - 1 reply
I don't think it's that crazy to think could happen really.
Commented on Kings sign Darren Collison on Jul 3 2014, 12:45p
The only way I can see it happening is with a sign and trade with Boston involving Thomas.
Commented on Kings sign Darren Collison on Jul 3 2014, 12:42p
I like the move if Rondo becomes our starter, and Collison plays role player.

Yea JJ is to Jekyl and Hyde for me. I don't wish ill will on the guy, but get him out of Oakland. I don't care what he does wherever he ends up. Probably the New York Mets.

Fatigue does exist. 8 game east coast road trips do take there toll. Look at how the A's start the road trips and how they finish them this year.

I'm just thinking he would most likely come at a cheaper price then an Ace. Might be had without dealing Russell.

Yea but if they aren't playing for the post season this year, it may be more of an option I would think.

We do if you are a river boat gambler and are willing to part with Russell.

Strailey and a solid prospect or 2 other than Russell. He doesn't walk many batters and is only making $517k this year.
