After the majority of the feelings had subsided from Sunday's.... um..... debacle(?).....well, anyways, yesterday I was thinking how the Raiders and the Broncos have always been a good vs evil story. Al Davis obviously embodies the evil side and Bowlen tends to lean towards the light more often then not.

This got to me to thinking about adversity, overcoming obstacles, the way stories play out, etc. I thought I'd share some of my musings with you in hopes that perhaps it may help you feel better about Sunday and help you to renew your zealous love of the Broncos as it has for me.

OK, I'm fed up now. I've been frustrated for a long time with a tendency that I've been seeing, but now I'm just pissed off. And let me give some advanced warning; This probably will not be a well thought out and cleanly seem-lined article. I've been thinking about that one since we drafted Tebow and I may or may not write it depending on how I feel in a day or so. This article is strictly me venting some frustration that's been building up for awhile now.

Hey all. A quick question for all of you. I am by no means computer illiterate (hell, I'm going to school to get Cisco Certified) but I have never messed with Twitter and other such social tools. My question is this; How can I get pick by pick updates on my phone tonight while I work? Does MHR or John Bena offer some kind of feed that will send me text messages updating me with each pick? I'm sure I could go to nfl.com or something like that but if I can get my news from MHR I'd much rather do so. Please let me know how I can do this so I can be apart of this community on this MOST important night in Broncos history.

WHAT A GAME! WHAT A TEAM! Sure does feel good to be a Denver fan right now, huh? It's late, I'm physically exhausted from all the tension and the hollering and jumping but there is NO WAY I am going to sleep right now so I'll just throw out some things I noticed during the game in hopes of generating some discussions as I LOVE the intelligent ideas that get born daily here at MHR. With the admissions of DJ and Champ that have come to light since the NE meltdown, many members of MHR, Hoosier in particular, have discussed the lack of a recognizable system and identity for our beloved Broncos.

The reasons for this lack of identity can be speculated and hypothesized until we all turn blue in the face but quite frankly I don't think we will ever know for sure because we are not inside the franchise. We are not at the meetings. We don't all play catch in Cutler's backyard.

So instead of going back and forth about why this apparent system meltdown has occurred, let's get into something we can discuss;

Hello all. I am a long time lurker who finally decided to join in on the conversations. I figure there is still a small amount of time I spend at work when I am actually working instead of trolling around MHR so the only rational thing to do would be to sign up and start posting so I can go ahead and kill those few hours as well!  :)

I am writing this in a matter of the utmost urgence! I am writing this as a plea to the powers that be, here at MHR.

Many folks have said we won on Sunday because our defence stepped up. Many have said it was because we played a full 60 minutes. Many have said we won because we finally found our pass rush. And yes, all of these things did happen. But that is not why we won. The reason we won is very simple;

You see my friends, the logic is proof enough. Denver has played 5 regular season games. MHR has featured the Bikini Thread 4 times. We have won 4 games. Coincidence? I think not!

And so it is, as if written in some childhood fairytale where the insignificant suddenly hold the fate of the world in their tiny hands, so it is that WE, the holders of the Bronco flame, find ourselves in total control of the Denver season. Post the Bikini Thread - Denver Wins. Ban the Bikini Thread - Get beat by the frickin CHEIFS!

Now, my fellow brethen, be forewarned that such a power as we now possess comes with great responsibilities and HEAVY burdens. Many of you will have to resist the temptations of such power while at work for fear that the woman in the cubicle next to you may take offense. To you I say, "PERSEVERE!" Many of you will have to bear the lashings when your respective wives stumble upon you oggling a half-naked supermodel. To you I say, "STAY STRONG MY BROTHER!" Many of you will find yourselves awake in the wee hours of the night, bleary-eyed, lips crusted over and fingers bent, caloused and bleeding as you search with utter relentlessness to find the ultimate good luck bikini girl to post on MHR for us all to bask in her glory. To you I say, "Dude, she's flippin HOT! Thx. Good work."

The fate of the Denver season rests solely in your courage and perseverence, my friends. There is no second place here! There is no timeouts for us! Heavy lies the crown, my friends. Heavy lies the crown!
